Amanhã o ND1A faz um ano. Acho q é um dos blogs mais antigos da blogosfera, tipo, na que eu faço parte. Como o blog é da fofuxa da Ellen, fiz esse layout pra ele. Escolhi a Miranda pq vi essas fotos dela de uma premiação e pq a Ellen ama a Miranda, então... Gostei do resultado, fiz até uns brushes pra esse lay, pois é! Ah, peço q ninguém pegue minha ideia de colocar uma base enorme com uma foto atrás do png principal, ou pegue e coloque créditos.

I was allowed to go inside the main hospital building of Northern State Hospital for the Insane, as well as the dorm for the training nurses and the chapel. I took over 200 pictures and its going to take me awhile to go through and sort out the good ones. But here are some of the best. I will be uploading more in the near future.

This years LEGO Train layout under the Christmas tree.
It looks like a ghost town because it never got detailed. I actually had to add the trees, plants, lights and anything that could easily be removed for the photos. I made the scenery as strong as I could to withstand my 14 month old and my 2 year old (who is almost 3 actually). What I didn't anticipate was the 2 year old taking it apart and then the 14 month year old trying to eat everything. So anything loose had to go. It was walked and crawled on with very little damage so that goal was reached...
There are no trains in the pictures because, honestly, I forgot to put it on there while I took the pictures. Nothing special though, I made a quick simple train that could withstand the kids. It didn't, but it was easy to reassemble.
The transition between the snow and the grass is not as good as it was originally, with some chunks missing in the back even. I built everything to face the other direction, but when I went to set it all up, I ended up having to reverse everything. Luckily it is LEGO so I could change it, but it didn't end up as nice as it was due to the time that I had to change it. I had some nice lines with the banks of snow and grass that I really liked. I will post some WIP shots that show it.
Overall I am pretty happy with how it came out.

Took things easy today and used a digital template. This is my son's Kindergarten page for his School of Life album. I'll add the picture of his last day of school when we get there. :) And once it's printed I'll ask him to write his name on it. That way we have his Kindergarten handwriting documented for all eternity.
