I'm back. I think. Maybe. I have not been on Flickr since February, due to the fact that I have not had the energy to even take and edit photos. I have been in a major chronic fatigue syndrome crash, which means that I have been barely keeping up with the chores of daily living. I've been getting depressed and discouraged, because my energy has never been this low for this long. At least not that I can remember. I was lying on the couch getting bore and depressed, and I just decided, "Darn it, I'm going to take a picture!" So here it is. Thank you to the administrators of the Our Daily Challenge Group for not kicking me off yet.

I sell things on eBay. This is where I keep a list of all the things I am selling and have sold, along with prices and shipping information. I'm still a hands on paper person. This notebook is always on my desk next to my computer, and in the way. :-)

Santiago's luck is paradoxical. The valley in which is placed does not allow pollution to leave the area. However, that same valley, gives the chance to constantly have amazing views to the Andes Mountains.

Few things to see in this image - from the sheep in the foreground, the lone tree in the middle hill, and the people on the far (illuminated hill) - all easy on the eye

Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.

The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.

Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.

Many people do not know what it is, but everyone loves it!

For years I 'experimented' in the studio, to get that Flemish painter's light? Well, I was born in Flanders, it must be in my blood? LOL.

THANK you, M, (*_*)

I like the layers seen here... grasses, dead trees, green trees and finally red and orange fall trees.

While driving in Waterton Lakes National Park, we saw these exposed cliff sides showing layer upon layer of sedimentary rock in various colors of beige, brown and grey. The park has some of the oldest exposed sedimentary rock in the Canadian Rockies. I was fascinated by the colored layers with splashes of green plant growth near the top. Imagine the trees trying to take root in this rock. The sad part is that many trees succeeded in finding a place to grow only to be burned later by a devastating fire.

The route coming down the plateau near Hasik takes you through spectacular mountain ranges to the Arabian Sea. The route along the Dhofar coast to Salalah is probably one of the best places to visit in Oman.
