Layering rock, spires, and a distant mountain peak. Clear sunrise sky, but still a great place to be.
While we're praying for the end of the coronavirus pandemic, we have to protect ourselves and follow all the health and safety protocols. Stay safe and stay Home, my Flickr friends!😷

One of the most popular hikes in the St. Mary Valley is taking the trail down to St Mary Falls. The trailhead can be accessed directly off of Going to the Sun Road. It's about one mile to reach this view of the falls.
I find the water cutting down through the argillite beds of red rock create one of the most complex and beautiful settings in Glacier National Park.

If you have the time please look as large as possible.
The Cliffs of Sangstrup and Karlby are up to 17 meters tall and stretches 5 km along the coast of Djursland. The limestone originates from a 65-million-year-old coral reef in a prehistoric and tropical sea.
Clouds obscuring the valley with the Gros Ventre skyline in the background. One of the reasons its called Jackson(s) Hole.

A winter storm warning yet again today plus a snow squall watch for tonight with an additional 30-60 cm possible between now and Tuesday. This is my neighbors house where the layers on the roof give a pretty good illustration of daily snowfall amounts. There are usually thaws that keep the depth of snow down a bit but that hasn't happened since New Years Day.
Purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain. Aerial perspective (also known as atmospheric perspective) demonstrated in this image.
This is another foggy Fall morning on a country backroad. I did not use filters or post processing tricks, this is the color of the morning.
Have a great day
