Am Montagmorgen werden beide Loks wieder zu neuem Leben erwachen, die 144 eher im Nahverkehr, die 193 im Güterverkehr.

Sunday rest at Lauda station for the two DB-vintage locomotives, Class 144.043 and Class 193.006.
On Monday morning, both locomotives will come back to life, the 144 primarily for local transport, the 193 for freight transport.

A morning view of Bw Lauda finds freshly arrived loco 023 018 flanked by BR50 pair nrs 319 and 2988 within the three-road atmospheric building. Beside is sister loco 023 020.
Both BR023s are active with nr18 having piloted 052 838 upon a Wurzburg-Osterburken fast freight while nr20 has arrived upon the 07.37 ex Wurzburg passenger.
Loco 023 018 is to continue with the 11.31 dep passenger short working to Bad Mergentheim.

The 312T2 was launched at Fiorano and featured a number of modifications over the 312T. In order to comply with the revised aerodynamic rules, the car no longer featured an airbox behind the cockpit. Instead "NACA shaped" air intakes were incorporated into the cockpit sides, feeding air into each cylinder bank of the flat 12 engine. However, despite its problems, the 312T2 was good enough to win the driver's championship for Lauda, who won more through the car's reliability than outright speed.
