A very dull. wet day at Glasgow in September 2001 but the only time I photographed this good looking scheme on a 767. The aircraft was on part time lease to Air Atlanta Icelandic, not as I initially guessed operating a football charter.
Lauda Europe are owned by Ryanair and the majority of their flights are operated for Ryanair using their FR flight prefix.
First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWDL. The aircraft was delivered to IndiGo Airlines (India) as VT-INM in Oct-07. It was sold to a lessor on delivery and leased back to IndiGo. It was returned to the lessor a year later in Oct-08 and immediately leased to Turkuaz Air (Turkiye) as TC-TCC.
It was sub-leased to KTHY Cyprus Turkish Airlines in Mar-09 and returned to Turkuaz in May-10. Turkuaz ceased operations in Oct-10, the aircraft was returned to the lessor and parked at Ankara-Esenboga.

Cobalt Air ceased operations in Oct-18 and the aircraft was returned to the lessor and stored at Woensdrecht, Netherlands in Nov-18. It was re-registered OE-IBJ in Dec-18 and remained stored until it was leased to Lauda (Austria) in Jun-19.

First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AUBJ, this aircraft was delivered to GECAS and leased to Philippine Airlines as RP-C8616 in Mar-12.
It was withdrawn from service and stored at Manila in Aug-19 as a consequence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was moved to Luzon / Clark Field in Dec-19.
It was returned to the lessor as OE-LMI in Jan-20 and leased to Lauda Air (officially LaudaMotion), Austria in Feb 20.
The Lauda name has been associated with several versions of the airline and LaudaMotion commenced operations in Mar-18, with a 25% holding by Ryanair, after the previous Lauda, in association with Air Berlin, ceased operations in Dec-17.
Long story short... there was a lot of politics involved. LaudaMotion had commercial agreements with both Condor and Eurowings who withdrew their interest in LaudaMotion. Ryanair increased their holding up to 100% by Dec-18. In Mar-19 LaudaMotion became just 'Lauda', mostly operating services for Ryanair using their 'FR' flight code. There's a lot more to it which I won't go into here.
After a protracted battle between Lauda / Ryanair, the labour unions and the Austrian Government, Ryanair closed down Lauda's Vienna operation. The assets of the company were transferred to the renamed Lauda Europe and all aircraft were re-registered in Malta.
This aircraft was re-registered 9H-LMI and continues in service. Current, updated 22-Jun-26.
