9H-LOA Airbus A320-214 operated by Lauda Europe, taxying for a runway 30 departure at Prestwick on 30th May 2022
Lauda Airbus A320-214 with Malta registration (9H LOU) arriving at Liverpool on runway 027 (east to west) from Vienna on the airlines twice weekly service to Merseyside. This airliner originally delivered to China Shenzen Airlines as B-6313 in May 2007, with Lauda since Sep 2020 originally registered as OE LOU.
First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWBP, this aircraft was delivered to RBS Aviation Capital and leased to Shenzhen Airlines as B-6313 in May-07.
It was returned to the lessor in May-19 and leased to Lauda as OE-LOU two weeks later. After some harsh words over handling charges at Vienna, Ryanair (who own Lauda!) decided to pull the Company out of Austria and base it in Malta.
It was re-registered 9H-LOU and renamed Lauda Europe in Sep-20. Almost all Lauda Europe flights now operate using Ryanair flight numbers. Updated 31-Oct-22.
Replacing an earlier scanned print with a better version 28-Dec-18.
Named: "John Lennon".
This aircraft was delivered to Lauda Air (Austria) as OE-ILG in Mar-88. It was wet-leased to Ansett Airlines (Australia) between Dec-89/Mar-90. It was briefly wet-leased to Eurowings for 3 weeks between Aug/Sep-01 and then to Regional Air for 3 weeks between Nov/Dec-01. The aircraft was sold to the Madagascar Government as a VIP aircraft as 5R-MRM in Sep-02 and transferred to Air Madagascar as 5R-MFL in Aug-11. It was permanently retired at Antananarivo, Madagascar in late 2015.
