Former Lauda Air OE-LNH, Ukraine International Airlines UR-GAO, Blue Air YR-BAT and Airwork N947NZ. "Elvis Presley" with Lauda Air.
First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWBZ, this aircraft was delivered to GECAS and leased to Cebu Pacific Air as RP-C3244 in Oct-07. It was returned to the lessor in Nov-19.
It was leased to Lauda Air (a Ryanair subsidiary) as OE-LOX two weeks later. Ryanair and the Vienna Airport Authority had 'a bit of a spat' over airport charges. Vienna was Lauda Air's main base and Ryanair threatened to leave if their charges were increased.
The result was that Ryanair closed the Lauda Air base at Vienna in May-20 and this aircraft was stored at Stansted, UK. The Lauda Air fleet was re-registered in Malta and this one returned to service in Oct-20 as 9H-LAX. Current, updated 23-Feb-24.
Note: Lauda Air now operate almost all services for Ryanair using Ryanair flight numbers. They operate a lot of Ryanair's Spanish domestic services and when this photo was taken this aircraft was based at Palma-Mallorca.
