9H-IHH Airbus A320-232 Lauda Europe @ Belfast City Airport 21/07/2021

Replacing an earlier scanned 6"x4" print with a better version 03-Apr-22 (DeNoise AI). Still a bit grainy!

With additional "In association with Lufthansa" titles.

An early CRJ.100 (Line No:36), this aircraft was first flown with the Canadair test registration C-FROL, it was delivered to Lauda Air as OE-LRC in Mar-94. It was sold to Lufthansa Leasing GmbH as D-ACLX and leased to Lufthansa CityLine in Oct-95.

It was wet-leased to Air Littoral (France) the same day and returned to Lufthansa CityLine in Jul-96. The aircraft was returned to Lufthansa Leasing, leased to Lauda Air again, as OR-LRC and sub-leased to Lauda Air Italy in Mar-99.

It wasn't with Lauda Air Italy for long (I was lucky to catch it!) and returned to Lauda Air in Apr-01. It was returned to Lufthansa Leasing a few days later. The aircraft was sold to Bombardier Capital Inc as D-ANIM and leased to Eurowings (Germany) towards the end of Apr-01.

The aircraft was returned to Bombardier Capital Inc in Nov-01 and stored at Maastricht, Netherlands. It was re-registered C-FZZO in Jul-0 and remained stored until it was leased to Lufthansa CityLine as D-ACJZ in Nov-02.

It was returned to Bombardier Capital Inc in May-03 and was re-registered N652ML in Jun-03 for a lease to Midways Airlines (USA). However, the lease was cancelled and the aircraft was stored.

It was leased to Mesa Airlines in Jul-04 and operated on behalf of US Airways Express. It returned to Bombardier Capital in Jan-06. It was sold to Voyageur Airways as C-FIPX in May-06 and operated on behalf of Harmony Airways between Jun/Oct-06.

The aircraft continued in service with Voyageur until late 2012. The registration was cancelled in Feb-13. No further information. Updated 03-Apr-22.

Taken from East perimeter fence at Glasgow International, Lauda B737-6Z9 OE-LNM spent its entire, and short, operational life in Austria, first with Lauda, then Austrian after the take-over. Delivered in 2000, and scrapped 2012.

First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWID, this aircraft was delivered to TAM Transportes Aereos Regionais (Brasil) as PR-MBD in Jul-06.

TAM Brasil merged with LAN Chile to form the LATAM Group in 2012 although it wasn't finalised until May-16 when TAM officially became LATAM Airlines - Brasil.

The aircraft had been sold to a lessor in Feb-16 and leased back to TAM. The aircraft was ferried to San Jose, Costa Rica in Sep-18 for end of lease maintenance and storage.

It was ferried to Vienna (Austria) in Feb-19 and returned to the lessor. It was leased to Lauda Air (now a Ryanair subsidiary) as OE-LOZ in Mar-19.

Due to high costs of the Lauda main base at Vienna, The Ryanair Group closed the base down in Sep-20 and moved the airline to Malta. It was renamed Lauda Air Europe and the aircraft was re-registered 9H-LOZ. Current, updated 25-Oct-25.

First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWBP, this aircraft was delivered to RBS Aviation Capital and leased to Shenzhen Airlines as B-6313 in May-07.

It was returned to the lessor in May-19 and leased to Lauda as OE-LOU two weeks later. After some harsh words over handling charges at Vienna, Ryanair (who own Lauda!) decided to pull the Company out of Austria and base it in Malta.

It was re-registered 9H-LOU and renamed Lauda Europe in Sep-20. Almost all Lauda Europe flights now operate using Ryanair flight numbers. Updated 31-Oct-22.
