Airbus A320-214 / Lauda / LEVC/VLC

Lauda Europe, operating services for Ryanair.

First flown in Jun-05 with the Airbus test registration F-WWDI, this aircraft was delivered to Debis Airfinance BV and leased to Kingfisher Airlines, India as VT-KFD in Aug-05.

The aircraft was repossessed from Kingfisher in Feb-12. It was stored at Dublin, Ireland in Mat-12 and re-registered OE-IBH. It was re-registered EI-EXK in Jul-12 and leased to Livingston Compagnia Aerea, Italy (previously Livingston Energy Flight).

It was wet-leased to Ryanair for 3.5 weeks in Jul-14 to cover for two damaged B737-800's. Livingston ceased operations in Oct-14, the aircraft was returned to the lessor and stored at Casablanca, Morocco.

In Jun-15 the aircraft was leased to Shaheen Air International, Pakistan as AP-BMD. It returned to the lessor as OE-IHH in Aug-18 and was stored at Montpellier, France.

In Mar-19 it was leased to the 'new' Lauda which had just been taken over by Ryanair. It was due to be re-registered OE-LMB but that wasn't taken up and it remained OE-IHH (OE-LMB was used on another Lauda A320, c/n 2859)

After a 'spat' between Ryanair and Vienna Airport over charges in late 2020, Lauda re-registered all their aircraft in Malta and became Lauda Europe in Dec-20. This aircraft became 9H-IHH. It had been stored at Stansted, UK in Oct-20 and returned to service in Jun-21. Current, updated 16-Oct-25.

Information from flickr - thanks to Guido Allieri (slightly adapted):

BAC 111-525FT c/n 256 was delivered to TAROM as YR-BCM during August 1977. In 1985 and 1986 it was leased two times to Lauda Air (OE-ILD), returning to TAROM at the end of July 1986. In April 1987 the plane was leased again to BIA British Island Airways for the summer season, returning to TAROM at the end of July 1987. retired by TAROM in May 1988, the plane was sold to Ryanair as EI-BVI. Ryanair operated it until September 1993 when the plane returned again to TAROM. This plane was damaged beyond economical repair and so written-off at Stockolm-Arlanda on June 07th, 1997. Hulk acquired by Caravelle Club, traded to RSwedAF for a Caravelle and trucked 600 kms to Halmstad for use as a fire & rescue trainer.

Replacing an earlier scanned 6"x4" print with a better version 03-Apr-22 (DeNoise AI). Still a bit grainy!

With additional "In association with Lufthansa" titles.

An early CRJ.100 (Line No:36), this aircraft was first flown with the Canadair test registration C-FROL, it was delivered to Lauda Air as OE-LRC in Mar-94. It was sold to Lufthansa Leasing GmbH as D-ACLX and leased to Lufthansa CityLine in Oct-95.

It was wet-leased to Air Littoral (France) the same day and returned to Lufthansa CityLine in Jul-96. The aircraft was returned to Lufthansa Leasing, leased to Lauda Air again, as OR-LRC and sub-leased to Lauda Air Italy in Mar-99.

It wasn't with Lauda Air Italy for long (I was lucky to catch it!) and returned to Lauda Air in Apr-01. It was returned to Lufthansa Leasing a few days later. The aircraft was sold to Bombardier Capital Inc as D-ANIM and leased to Eurowings (Germany) towards the end of Apr-01.

The aircraft was returned to Bombardier Capital Inc in Nov-01 and stored at Maastricht, Netherlands. It was re-registered C-FZZO in Jul-0 and remained stored until it was leased to Lufthansa CityLine as D-ACJZ in Nov-02.

It was returned to Bombardier Capital Inc in May-03 and was re-registered N652ML in Jun-03 for a lease to Midways Airlines (USA). However, the lease was cancelled and the aircraft was stored.

It was leased to Mesa Airlines in Jul-04 and operated on behalf of US Airways Express. It returned to Bombardier Capital in Jan-06. It was sold to Voyageur Airways as C-FIPX in May-06 and operated on behalf of Harmony Airways between Jun/Oct-06.

The aircraft continued in service with Voyageur until late 2012. The registration was cancelled in Feb-13. No further information. Updated 03-Apr-22.

Taken from East perimeter fence at Glasgow International, Lauda B737-6Z9 OE-LNM spent its entire, and short, operational life in Austria, first with Lauda, then Austrian after the take-over. Delivered in 2000, and scrapped 2012.
