A 1946 BSA 250cc C11
a few anomalies here you will notice for my C11 -= mainly the tank. I believe it is from a M20, but I don't mind it. Otherwise its pretty original and it came with a spare motor! There are not too many in OZ from what I can see.
A window display of the latest in junior and women's fashion.

Our latest - and fifth - Boeing 777-300ER landing at Heathrow following the installation of First and Club seats.
The aircraft went into service on January 1, 2012 on the London Heathrow to Tokyo service.
This brings the total number of Boeing 777-300ERs up to five out of a total fleet of 229 aircraft. The plane is capable of carrying up to 299 people in four cabins.
Enviro500 38213 and 38218 seen in the background have no the been disposed of this week by First Aberdeen. 38213 seen here preparing to leave King Street Depot for the last time.
My latest batch of starfighters, some of course only minor redesigns of previous models.
I'm still volunteering to do the map for nnovvember 2010. The fighters above should be pretty much to scale with each other, the reference point being the front of the cockpit windscreen.
Arriva the Shires 4490 T490 KGB is seen parked in the bus wash at the Aylesbury depot shortly after arrival from High Wycombe earlier on in the day.
4490 is a permanent transfer to Aylesbury.
My last post was pretty grim.
I did have the private treatment to 'Ablate' the new tumour in my liver at the end of November. This treatment looks like it has worked but I have to wait 3 to 6 months to have it confirmed.
Unrelated to the treatment I have had a couple of infections and now have blood clots in my lungs (painful).
I had to stop my chemo and immunotherapy whilst this latest treatment was carried out.
I am now set to resume chemo/ immune treatments next week once the current infection has cleared.
Thankfully the daily injections appear to have reduced or shifted the blood clots so no more pain!
I am waiting for another scan to see if anything is showing anywhere else.
The chemo will be for another 12 weeks as I was half way through when I had to take the break.
As far as KT is concerned I just don't have the energy or strength to get her out but will make a big effort soon.

We rocked up on the last day!
This is the latest project we have done in the yard this past week. I got the Japanese Maple on the right for my birthday last year and we created the planting bed that was empty until this year. I finally found a birdbath I like this spring and then found plants I like. This bed is visible from our dining room, screened porch and deck so I wanted to find some special plants. I also wanted it to be interesting year round. This view is from the deck.
Maggie Weston E-Frame. Part of the amazing Exo Squad line of toys from Playmates. I love getting an older sealed toy and freeing it from the box. I had a lot of fun assembling it and putting the decals on. A flood of memories came back to me.
With latest talk of fashions seen on the Emmy Awards walkway, which I did not watch as I'm never impressed as compared to fashions of the 1950's.
With that in mind, here is a photo of the actresses starring in one of my favorite movies, "The Opposite Sex." We have
June Allyson, Joan Collins, Dolores Gray, Ann Sheridan, Ann Miller, Joan Blondell all portrayed in beautiful dresses. For me it was Dolores Gray in that fantastic dress she wore, the way she moved, her hair, her makeup... I became a fan of Dolores Gray.
Of all this talk on how expensive gowns worn at recent Emmy Awards, I think if any wore one of these, now that would be impressive.
June Allyson plays the virtuous wife who loses her husband to scheming gold digger Joan Collins (seen here in her pre-"Dynasty"). Girls use their claws without ruining their manicures! A remake of 1939 "The Women" which some commented as "certified classic of brittle bitchiness and acidic wit," and "insanely phallic calypso musical extravaganza, and the gloriously gaudy fashion show that the ladies put on for nearly 2 dizzying hours" also "For those looking for glamorous, campy entertainment with no thought required--pop this baby in."
The Opposite Sex (1956) available from Amazon at www.amazon.com/Opposite-Sex-VHS-June-Allyson/dp/630198072...
Movie is now for sale on DVD from www.wbshop.com/Warner-Archive/ARCHIVE,default,sc.html for $24.95 and free shipping. Go to Warner Bros archive webpage and browse to O section for "The Opposite Sex." There are some selling the same thing on ebay for $38 but cheaper direct from WB.

Never used Amazon to purchase hosiery but I must confess this is a "winner", all around. I can't believe I'm a "Size XL"? Maybe because I'm a tall girl ... The fit is, "wow"! And the feel is "mmm"...
My first 1/32 build inspired by Christina Garcia's scale of choice. I have had this kit for several years in a partial build state. I finished it with this unique black finish the Navy used for a training unit in North Island SD CA
