Tick Tock! Tick Tock!

You are running late for a very important date in your dream.

Nothing is worse than running late for an important engagement. Dreaming you are late can mean things are not going according to plan, your time is running out for something that you wanted to have or aspire to in your life. Whatever it is that is creating this sense of urgency in your life, it is time for you to invest more time in accomplishing it. Time to make a plan, and if you’ve already done that, it is certainly time to revise the one you have made.

I thought it was time to share some color. This one was found up in RMNP and I really liked it you can tell by how many pics I took of it.

Thank you Explore! And everyone else who stops by!

I'm back from my trip to Vancouver Island, and hopefully over a couple of health issues, so I can start catching up on all your posts. Found this old truck being reclaimed by nature in an old saw Mill on the island.

Again, I would like to thank everyone for your support, views, faves and comments!

Enya - Only if

When there's a shadow you, reach for the sun

When there is love in you, look for the one

And for the promises, there is the sky

And for the heavens are those who can fly

Chorus:

If you really want to, you can hear me say

Only if you want to will you find a way

If you really want to you can seize the day

Only if you want to will you fly away

When there's a journey you follow a star

When there's an ocean you sail from afar

And for the broken heart there is the sky

And for tomorrow are those who can Fly

Blink and you miss daylight at the moment, as we get closer to the winter equinox. I love the light and skies at this time of year! Looking west across the lake at Haddo House, Aberdeenshire.

I painted the garage door to go with the colours of this Clematis, and for a short time in the late afternoon warm sunshine they contrast in all their glory.

But to catch a photo of the colours has proved tricky. The lead photo is just about right for the Clematis, but leaves the yellow a bit pale.

View On Black makes an improvement.

(I've thought the Clematis was The President. But doubt has been cast on that. A Jackmanii?)

With winter only being three days away, our weather yesterday was just beautiful. I posted this same view a few weeks ago, but it was still really autumn then!

Late afternoon shadows, snow, red oak leaves and a pristine sky makes for a simple, but iconic Iowa scene!

Chicken little has arrived a bit late, I sure was happy to see him it has been few days since I last saw him.He isn't little anymore he has all grown up.

The UK has just one native fritillary, Fritillaria meleagris (the Snake's Head fritillary). It grows in just a few meadows in Southern England and the Midlands. One of these places is Kew Gardens, London. The best time to see them in flower is usually mid to late April.

One of the most famous monuments in Warsaw, standing on The Old Town Marker Square :)

The Warsaw Mermaid - statue on Old Town Market square in Warsaw. It was the first monument of the Warsaw coat of arms and had an influence on the later images of the Warsaw Mermaid and popularized her figure among the inhabitants and visitors of the city. The mermaid appears in several Warsaw legends. All of them assigned her the role of the patron and protector of the city. The sculpture in Warsaw's Old Town Square was designed by Varsovian sculptor Konstanty Hegel. Originally (1855–1928) and now (since 2000) it stands in the marketplace. At other times, it was moved to different places in Warsaw. In 2008, the original sculpture made of bronzed zinc was taken from the market for maintenance work. The sculpture was in a very poor condition due to mechanical damage and numerous acts of vandalism. The repaired original was transferred to the Museum of Warsaw, and replaced with a copy of made by the Jacek Guzera foundry in Dąbrowie near Kielce.

Wszystkie wyznaczają jej rolę patronki i opiekunki miasta. Kielc.

Red-headed woodpecker, Nov 5, 2019, Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.

According to our records this is the latest that we have had a red-headed woodpecker in the yard.

It is very cautious and it takes two or three passes before it will settle on the feeder.

Through the Wonderful Wildlife Window.

Melanerpes erythrocephalus

The Red-headed Woodpecker is one of only four North American woodpeckers known to store food, and it is the only one known to cover the stored food with wood or bark. It hides insects and seeds in cracks in wood, under bark, in fence posts, and under roof shingles. Grasshoppers are regularly stored alive, but wedged into crevices so tightly that they cannot escape.

Just outside of the small town of Sierraville we decided to pull the car over and let Kenzie the pup do her business. I steered the car into one of the camp grounds along Highway 89. The sign said "closed for the season" but that didn't prevent us from parking and trudging in through the snow. The snow isn't as deep as previous years so it was a pretty easy trudge.

This is a particularly beautiful spot along Cold Creek and the late winter light and colors were quite pretty. I've taken quite a few pics here during Autumn when the alders and cottonwoods are ablaze with color. Kenzie did her business and I did mine, which was to snap a few shots of the scenery--it wasn't autumn but it wasn't bad at all.

Today, 4/7/2018 was fledge day. All five little ones were escorted off the property shortly after fledging during the late afternoon. There were no hawks or crows around during the time so things went rather well. I did not have to swing in to action with a broom :)

Lady and Mr. B were clicking and dive bombing all yard visitors except me. They allowed me to take a couple of shots of this little one too. I feel special. All of the other little peeps were hidden pretty well in Oak three. This one landed on some hanging fruit I keep for the butterflies. Butterflies like rotting fruit.

That's the good news, the bad news is... It's their first few hours out of the box and we are about to experience a whale of a storm. Good luck little ones.

Have a wonderful day and happy snapping.

Late afternoon light over the rocky land that makes up Sedona there in Arizona.

Well the weather is dull and grey and naturally something good comes. CP 8855 leads CP 7023 on a very late CP 143 out of Campbellville and makes its way south down the Hamilton sub. Apparently the ACu had issues so they swapped the power around. Bad luck for us.
