Being an international school, there were students from all over the world

at NUFS, meaning there were more languages than just Japanese and English.

Although this was the English language lounge, there were often people who

spoke French, Spanish, German, Korean, Chinese, and so on as well. Being

able to communicate with all of these people, despite having been raised

learning different languages, changes the way one thinks about

communication and how to use language to do so.

I got all the language assistants a police bear or a paddington bear for services rendered...here is Bisera wearing the helmet I will give to Vladimir my Russian colleague and good friend.

Duolingo displays the available language lessons in an orderly sequence so that they build on one another over time with easier lessons first. Advanced learners can opt into more difficult lessons.

Chinese language teachers take notice: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZzIVdg3A1A This is an August 10, 2010 video with good audio quality on plainclothes police stopping democratic activist Ai Weiwei from filing a complaint for the beating he received from Chengdu police on August 10, 2009 during the trial of Tan Zuoren. Good for classroom instruction.

"Reflections on the August 10th incident:

1. The legal organs of the government are a mess through and through.

2. The police, procuratorate, and courts have lost confidence in themselves . Don't expect fair treatment from an illegitimate regime.

3. The Chengdu police got a scare.

4. Chengdu police personnel all recognize Ai Wewei.

i poured the craft sand left over from our ocean in a bottle activity into this tray and told T that it is special alphabet dust for him to practice writing his letters in. normally i wouldn't lie to him about stuff like this, but i don't want him to confuse this activity with his sandbox or bean bin.

Intimate Lighting (1965) Language: Czech Subtitles: English Director: Ivan Passer Producer: N/A Writer: Ivan Passer, Jaroslav Papoušek, Václav Šašek Screenplay: Ivan Passer Cast: Zdeněk Bezušek, Karel Blažek, Věra Křesadlová, Jaroslava Štědrá Music: Josef Hart, Oldrich Korte Cinematography: Josef Střecha, Miroslav Ondříček Editor: Jiřina Lukešová Production Design: Karel Cerny Costume: N/A Production: Filmové studio Barrandov Distributor: N/A Description: Intimate Lighting is a Czech drama film directed by Ivan Passer. It is widely considered as a major film of the Czechoslovak New Wave and to be Passer’s most significant film. It follows the adventures of a professional symphony musician, Peter, who comes to a small town to see a friend he has missed, Bambas. He is a teacher and performer at funerals. The two meet again and get involved in some comic exploits, including a possible symphony concert. Krzysztof Kieslowski placed it on his Top Ten list for a Sight & Sound magazine poll. Dave Kehr, formerly of the Chicago Reader, called it “one of the finest works of the short-lived Czech New Wave.” The New York Times noted that it was one of those movies that “loses none of its charm, to age or to repeated viewing” ift.tt/3e8kr8s
