Labyrinth at Emory Presbyterian Church on North Decatur road. It is a contemporary "chalice" labyrinth, six circuit with switchbacks, an incorporation of classical with medieval design. The first switchback is lower left, second is upper left, then one crosses over to the upper right for the third, lower left for the fourth, inner lobe right for the fifth, then one crosses over to the inner switchback left which is the sixth and opens to the center, which has been decorated with a cross design. Material is paving stone of different colors (which I've enhanced a good deal here, appearing more as they would if wet). Setting is the front yard of the church on a busy road so you can make a public spectacle of yourself performing this private, meditative rite.
