I visited SUNY New Paltz today, the sight of my three trips through college. Much of my course work was in the Old Main Building. this room was a computer lab where as an undergrad I took my first ever computer course "Computers in the Classroom" in the fall of 1987. This was the era of DOS and the IBM PC.

My 105lb lab always laid on the couch with me. When we bought a brand new couch we decided it would be best to keep her off of it to cut down on the hair and wear and tear. I had bought her several beds/pillows to lay on, but she didn't like them much and hardly ever used them. She always ended up sneaking back up on the couch. I bought the Big Barker bed in hopes she would like it enough to lay on it and stay off the couch. I bought the headrest edition because she frequently rested her head on the arms of the couch. She LOVES her Big Barker. It was worth every penny. She lays on it all the time and she stays off the couch now that she has a comfy bed of her own. This is Sophie on her Big Barker.
Premier John Horgan toured Ethọ́s Lab in Surrey, BC. In partnership with Solid State Industries, the Ethọ́s Lab will leverage a cooperative model to develop networked, members only, youth spaces (inclusive of all youth) that will be located in major urban centres that reflect their technological reality. Initiated in Metro Vancouver, the intent is that these youth spaces will scale to other urban centres.
