Recently baught this old 2008 LPS Extreme Pets: Punkiest Caterpillar. Came with a dispaly frame.

The dog sitting next to skipper has glass eyes, I though that was cool since I had never seen one b4. And the kitty on the last row 2nd from right if you push her paw down her tongue comes out. lol I thought that was cute.

Am I the last to get the new LPS girls? :D

Introducing Merlina and Kate, the new generation of LPS Blythe.

My veredict: Thumbs up!

The new eyes are not as bad as I thought. I do like the larger pupils. I love the tiny twinkle star on them. The painted lashes.. not too bad! Could do without the purple dot and eyeliner though.

Merlina's (purple hair, second floor) face paint is fun, I like it! she reminds me of fairy oddparents.. perhaps I should've named her Wanda.. lol! Actually, I had a different name picked for her, but when she arrived home she immediately told me her name. I did convince her to save her stock Merlin inspired gown for Halloween though.

She's wearing a tiny StitchWhipped top that she snatched off one of her new sisters :P She also 'borrowed' someone's stock leather jacket and tiny black head bow. And I love her witch stock blue booties but they clashed with today's outfit so I'm saving them for trick or treat day :)

Kate's (first floor) number is B52 :) so I had to break my Spanish only! names rule and named her after B-52's singer Kate Pierson.

She was eager to kick her ugly stock dress out the window and raid the girls closet. She chose these stock bits, but insisted to flash you all flickr friends. She says it's body paint so don't freak out.

She refused to take off her black high tops. And I can't blame her!

And look at his little racing buggy! :D

Littlest Pet Shop

Turtle #642

Found this new LPS at five below its cute but the paint job on these are so bad this one was the best I could get. He has a flaws on his eyes and hair.

Taken December 23rd, 2014 (age 14).

This is just one of my favorite LPS photos that I've taken.

If you'd like to see more, find me @lpscrystalline on Instagram.

I really don't know if it makes any sense to post this pic... ;] But I think they're cute!

This is how the neck looks on Ramekin. I carved the knob and left a little "lip" so that it would glue on better. I don't know how other people do it, but this was my way. Could it be done without glue? Both plastics had absolutely no elasticity and I didn't see another way. :P

I am very unlucky with Licca bodies and I have gotten two tilt necks out of three that I ordered. But I'm happy to say that tilt necks give LPS dolls some character! I placed a thicker, clear rubber band to stifen the wobble, and now there's just the right amount. Before the rubber band, her head just flopped to one side and looked like she had a broken neck.

LPS head on hasbro strawberry shortcake body. Glued on head, so unfortunately it can't move, but I like the way she looks.

Everyone is doing their 2013 wishlist.. I can't do a little mosaic (my wishlist is massive, this is just a tiny part) and I haaate borrowing anyone's pictures anyways.. so I'm making things my way, as usual. I'm starting my list with LPS Blythe, now that they've gone to heaven :P (got my drama queen crown on, bear with me).

Top row is my must-have list.

Middle row is my I-passed-on-these-for-too-long-now-I-want-them-bah

Bottom row, the unwanted girls. Unbelievable, but true.

See notes if you're bored :D

EDIT: I will update this list as I find them.

My fish lost it's fight two days ago ..........after cleaning all the mess, I 'am sort of back to the regular routine ( my heart didn't... yet ><) and continue the unfinished work. The lace doily is complete. It's very pretty but I am not sure it will fit the original purpose ( My man asked how to put the non slip backing on it - Who will add non-slip backing to a lace doily??? ) I am sure it will have a good use at somewhere else, except the cabinet

LPS Lemur on a Pinky Street body.

This little guy is a special mail-in offer and he finally came in a day or so ago.

So I’ve been inspired by @queenofsquids‘s hybrids lately so I wanted to dig out my Littlest Pet Shop Monkey I ended putting on a Skipper body to emulate Blythe proportions, however having been through two moves his paint was horribly worn and chipped.

When I painted him 6 years ago I WANTED to emulate vintage toys paint but I had absolutely no idea WHY I liked elements of their stylistic paint so I fumbled around and did something that was vaguely simplified without understanding why I liked it. Plus my technique was much more sloppy and unrefined so I’ve been wanting to fix him up.

When I first painted him I had no idea what body to give him so I did whatever, but now that he had a Skipper body I painted his face to match his body, which lends him to look more vintage looking than before.

I combined a few elements of what I liked about vintage doll paint including the overly blushed cheeks, random lines and how eye shines are applied.

I’m really proud of my art style evolving and my skills improving since 6 years ago.

This was taken on the same day the other frog photo was - I'm not sure why I didn't upload it then.

FM me for details!
