I was surprised once I realized the last time I did a proper Nova Team group shot was back in August of 2016. Well, I figured what better way to start off Season 5 than with one! Its fun looking back and seeing how much has changed and yet, stayed the same.
For those of you who enjoy Nova Team, sorry it has taken so long for a new photo series to come out. But I hope the wait will be worth it. I have something cooked up that'll be something new and exciting for them, but also very much rooted in past stories. We have action, suspense and lots of LEGO! My hope is this photo series will also setup the next one.
Currently, I'm neck deep right now bouncing back and forth from building, photographing, editing and writing this. Keep a lookout next week when sometime the first installment will drop and with any luck the rest of the story will unfold at an even pace. Thank you all for you're continuing interest and support. It is always VERY MUCH appreciated!

For those who are interested, unfortunately I am unable to sell the Nova Team minifigures or designs due to the use of the "Classic Space" logo which is owned and trademarked by The LEGO Group. My custom designed figures and use of the official "Classic Space" logo is for personal use only in my MOCs and photography. By the same token, I will not give away the design files and source material either. Thank you for understanding! Trust me, if I could legally sell these, I would.
The LL-824 Paladin is the starfighter you want running an escort mission for your fleet or convoy. Along with a 2 person occupancy, powerful engines and a rugged design, the Paladin boasts an impressive array of fire power to protect and defend those in its care.
Here's my action shot of the Paladin.
[Want to give a special shoutout to The Brothers Birck for featuring the Paladin!]
Double crater to be precise. the module is 32x32, but it's surrounded by 10 "blank" 8x16 modules to show how it would look in a larger terrain.
I need a bit more empty space around my moonbase, and a crater does create that space atmosphere.
The crater inside is new dark grey while the rest of the terrain is old dark grey.
A little machine to start off Febrovery!

Mobile satellite links were extremely useful for relaying the findings of the Federation's various surface discovery vehicles straight to space stations and orbiting space craft. However, when dust and electrical storms made such communication impossible, the Heavy Communications Rover could send and receive messages seismically through a planet's interior. A network of four rovers would be enough to cover the entire surface of most planets, ensuring transfer of information from the planet surface to space without interruption. In the days of Blacktron raids, this tactic allowed the Federation to react speedily to attack.
I had this old dark gray radar dish sitting on the shelf for years and decided I had to make something with it. This was the result. It's not obviously visible on the main edit, but the stacked dishes behind the main cab are meant to be a device to create seismic pulses, and also provide a pivot point between the can and the trailer. Also pleased that I used three trans yellow windscreens I’d never used before - particularly fun to discover that the inverted windscreen can accept two SNOT studs. I also used three different lattice parts in old light gray to tie the build together.
This is my entry to the 6th round of this year's RogueOlympics. The topic is 'Impulse’. As always, the challenge is to use no more than 101 pieces. This piece of work consists of exactly 101 pieces.
This 'space dance' scene from the Disney Movie Wall-E quickly came to my mind. Hope you enjoy it!

The pinnacle of Federation design, The LL-928 Galaxy Explorer lasted generations longer than virtually any other craft. Its combination of speed, power, and adaptability made it not just a perennial favourite amongst Federation pilots, but also a symbol of the Federation's mission as a whole.
Proudly presenting this version of the Galaxy explorer using only common, cheaply available elements! I've made instructions available, and the parts (without minifigs) are gettable on bricklink for about €100/£85 or less!
Instructions are here:

I built in a lot of play features - working landing gear, a rover which can be contained in the back, swivelling rear doors like the original, and also the original a rear folding hatch, and roof which hinges up.
The design team at KDFY may have forgotten about her, but the Huntress class keeps on pushing forward. Only in different hands this time.
A build of the Guinevere from The Sojourn, a wonderful sci-fi audio drama by Daniel Orrett, which you can check out here
This ship is uniquely capable of creating separations in spacetime and opening rifts in the fabric of the universe through which it can travel great distances in an instant.
NTERRAs new wave of industrial grade rovers have arrived!
Introducing, B400 MEGA HAULER. No longer is there a need for multiple container trucks, its massive 38 x 44 stud cargo loading platform is built to transport bigger payloads through long distances. One of its unique qualities is its revolving mecanum wheels which allows multi-directional movement while keeping itself straight.
NTERRA, just one of the many industrial corporations of the lunar colony that operates on the moon. Its main functions are cargo transport and wreck salvage.
On the open roads of Mare Serenitatis, a heavily travelled route and a long journey. The destination, the ULC Imbrium Gate between the Apenninus and Caucasus mountains. These open roads are patrolled hourly but ambush attacks are still probable and it’s still 140 clicks to the gate.

* My apologies for the 3x3 round corner bricks on the GENIX canister not being rendered properly. There is a problem with the eyesight renderer not smoothening out curved bricks.
* This build has 3 custom parts made: 2 1x1 tiles and a 5x5 quarter round tile. Ill link the download files for the 1x1 custom tiles here soon.
* I have always wanted to try this type of mecanum wheel builds as it gives this very chunky and heavy feel that compliments large rovers. Plus the wheel build is really simple it just uses a 2x2 octagon and clips around to position the 2x2 round bricks. The drivers cabin had to be taller to contrast the flat and low feel of the rover and using flextubes and the 3x7 flag peice was just right. It’s been a while since my last massive project and this is kinda of a rebrand and restart of the NTERRA line, so here’s my first entry for Febrovery2023 with more on the way :)
Build made with Bricklink Studio 2.0 with existing/custom parts and image enhanced and edited in Photoshop.
Two outdated B-wing bombers and a powerful shield generator strapped together into a slumbering fighter, able to protect allied capital ships against long range artillery.
My entry for the preliminary round of Iron Forge. The seed part, a standard minifigure leg, was used a total of 23 times throughout the build.
The Interplanetary Interceptor is a two-person shuttle designed for patrolling the outer Epicurean System. It is one of the fastest ships in the EDC fleet with an unmatched acceleration speed.
Equipped with a Class-5 Inertial Damper and Ion-Burst Acceleration Jump technology, the Interceptor can reach speeds in excess of point-one lightspeed, outpacing any Exon ship.
The ship’s aerodynamic design allows it to function in atmosphere as well as deep space. Its landing gear is fully retractable to fit its cavity in the hull.
The ventral sensor array is equipped for planetary scans, allowing it to identify enemy bases and vessels. At full power, the Interceptor’s forward railguns can penetrate even military-grade magnetic shielding.
With its scheduled maintenance complete, Arcturus Outpost’s LL-928 Galaxy Explorer takes flight, to explore strange new worlds and seek out new life and new civilizations.
--- For this shot, I was trying to take the vibe from the box artwork with the ship zipping across a starry skied tan colored, planetoid surface and just give it a 2020’s sci-fi cinematic look and feel.

A new vehicle for my troops of the CS-NextGen. The crawler is the perfect combination of a troop transporter and a cargo vehicle. The transporter offers space for 6 people plus the pilot and can load two containers. A full-size container and a half-size one.
If you like the transporter, take a look at the LIZARD and the hangar.
Best regards
Boba
The LL724 Tandem Hawk is a twin-cockpit Federation transatmospheric craft with three main engines. Shown here with various groundside tender vehicles including mobile ladder, fueler and pilot transfer landtrain, its variable-geometry atmospheric wings give it excellent in-atmosphere manoeuvring ability while its dual twin lasers and shoulder-mounted proton beams give it a significant armament for a general-purpose Federation explorer.
Typical Federation cockpit layout has the pilot on the right side and the navigator or commander on the left, but "opposite-handed" left-hand-drive versions do exist.
After the recent Blacktron attacks on Deep Space Outpost Arcturus earlier this year, the Federation decided it would be prudent to increase the security forces on the station. Here we have General Petra Pantheon during an inspection tour of her Marine Corp. Pantheon, a decorated officer with tactical experiences spanning the last 3 decades, fought in the original war with Blacktron, affording her firsthand knowledge of the enemy. She is a formidable warrior and the perfect person to lead the security forces out here in the frontiers of space.

I’ve had a bunch of pumpkins I had no idea what to do with, and then I saw @leewanlego and @loysnuva had built pumpkin rovers and I thought that was brilliant! So thank you for your inspirational builds!
Please check them out they very inspirational builders!

A Neo-Edo Scavenger Class built to scavenge from the Great Mars NASA Tragedy of 3555 it first set out flight on 3558 at the beginning of the Great Solar War. This spaceship became the dread of the solar system with its Kiryu class shredders capable of tearing apart the best armored spacecraft exposing its enemies to the vacuum of space. 5 crew operate this ship and it is powered by fast Desghidorah Drive

This was my first ever SHIPtember and a fun one at that!
Total build and post edit time: 12 days
It's FebRovery again, my favourite themed building month.
So let's begin with a modification of set 10497 (or as I like to call it, the "UCS Galaxy Explorer") into a rover.
As far as names go, "Planetary Explorer" was the obvious and only choice. The rear cargo compartment contains a small skimmer-type vehicle to mirror the rover carried by the original
For MOCathalon 2011.
I'm psyched by how well this came out! Definitely my best microspace yet, I think. This is the first microscale MOC that feels sort of "real". It looks like a functional, complicated spaceship, which was what I was going for.
I was channeling some Jerac (upside down container idea) and Soren while making this, having spent hours looking through their respective photostreams and drooling :)
Enjoy!
EDIT: Also, Team Jigsaw FTW!!! ;)
Tasked to traverse the snow capped world of Krysto by HF Mission Control, Stormer has been sent to rescue a team of trapped Brickonium miners within the crystalized tunnels below the frozen surface. He comes prepared for the cold; equipped with a chain-sledge splitting maul to cut through the ice, a spear gauntlet for any glacial climbing, as well as thermal armor and an extra energy pack to both boost power and longevity to his gear. With the assistance of the rocket research team and their prototype satellite tech to track his way, it’s a race against temperature and time to find the isolated miners and bring them back safely.
Inspired by the absolute force of positivity that is @ben.cossy! As well as other previously similar characters of this concept by @bobthedoctor27, @kutorakh, @datavoltus, and IGU on Flickr!
And a huge thanks again to the profound and wise editing advice of @loafbuilds!

Yesterday was International Dog Day! Or should it be Intergalactic?
My daily walks with our dog Frida are one of the few things keeping me sane in 2020. Here’s to all the doggos out there doing the same for others.
Well, it's NnoVVember again, and that means Vic Vipers.
For once I felt the urge to participate in this monthly challenge; I've built ships with the set of characteristics that define a Vic Viper, but I wouldn't call myself a specialist in them and I seldom feel the urge to build something with those particular constraints during the month of November.
LL731 is pretty conventional as Vic Vipers go: two forward prongs, two rear wings, single vertical tail fin. And it's Classic Space because of course it is.
One giant oppsies for Mankind...

This month's seed part was the Droid head.
Join us every month, for a new part, and chance to win 200EUR shopping spree.
For once, I've find a fitting name : "Blocky Runner" ^^
Seventh (and last...) Vic Viper for 2021, and by far my favorite.
It was very fun (and not that easy as it may seems) to go to the total blocky look.
Yet another is awakened, cursed to roam the Martian dunes, undaunted by the red planet's return to an inhospitable wasteland

„LIZARD“ XVS-10 Light Freighter
Because some of you have asked for detailed pictures of the ship.
The color scheme is inspired by the current City Space theme. The ship is called „ The LIZARD“ XVS-10 and is a light freighter.
The LIZARD is the first ship I build for my CS-NextGen Team (Classic Space - The Next Generation).
