The NCS: Mobile Anti-Space-Debris Exo-Frame. [M.A.S.D.E.F.] or 'Mastiff' - as it's called in the outer rim.

At once a useful tool for removing pesky asteroids from your LL-Class Starship's path, and a powerful defensive suit in those tense extra-terrestrial encounters! The M.A.S.D.E.F. if an all-in-one powerful extension of any human crew member.

My entry for the #BricksandBeer #9BrickMech contest. I love this little guy! Featuring prototype Brickarms in the over-shoulder extensions, and some woooonderful test-shot #Bionicle I was gifted💜 for the blast effects.

Inspired by micro fleets such as this one by Chewk, and this one by Gladius, and spurred on by my recent enjoyment with Microspace, I decided to build a fleet of my own! I've had these built for over two weeks, but I've only just managed to upload them after struggling to get the fleet succesfully photographed. They are built to play against my friends (with fleets they will build no matter what they may think :P), and are based on this set of MicroSpaceWars rules by Spook. Enjoy, and take a look at the individual photos for info on each ship.

After another successful mission Nova Team has returned home to Deep Space Outpost Arcturus. Following their mission debriefing some of the team went down to the requisitions department. Much to their surprise the requisition officer has presented them with some of the latest new equipment the Adavanced Developoment team has been working on.

:::So I'm really excited to start sharing this with you guys! I’ve been working on designing and having printed custom decals for Nova Team, trying to take the Neo-Classic Space theme in my own direction. Over the next couple days I’ll be sharing some more photos and details on my design and the in-universe story that goes along with it. This is just a little sneak peek into what I’ve been up to. Comments are always welcome, can’t wait to see what you guys think of it so far!

(And yes, the requisitions officer is wearing a custom jumpsuit I've designed as well)

It's the end of another year for the crew members of Deep Space Outpost Arcturus and Nova Team as they congregate outside the station to watch a New Years anti-matter fireworks show put on by the top pilots of Archer Squadron in their LL-962 "Arrow" starfighters.

2015 has been another fun year taking LEGO photos and seeing all the awesome LEGO work my Flickr friends have been up too. Thank you all so much for your support, comments and favs. I look forward to another year full of LEGO awesomeness! I have lots of stuff planned, so keep on the lookout!

I wish all of you a healthy and Happy New Year!

After 3 years of work, hiatus and more work, I'm happy to share my newst model. Inspired by concept art, Mandal Motors designs and Mandal Hypernautics cruisers from Star Wars Legends, this heavy cruiser has a total of 7760 pieces and measures 85x42 cm (33x17 in). It was a fun a challenging build that started back in 2022 and forced me to balance the odd shapes and angles with strong structural integrity and a clean finishing.

I hope you like it! I will be releasing a few more closeups and angles in the next few days as well as Instructions for it at some point down the line so stay tuned!

The Rebel Alliance has salvaged a derelict racing craft from an Imperial impound lot during one of their missions.

Restored to its original splendour and gifted to Teal Squadron with a stylised paint job, Teal 6: Cerulean Phoenix became an integral part of space battles due to its long range cannons.

Only an expert marksman could fully pilot it to defeat enemy craft with pinpoint accuracy.

Built for the Teal Squadron collaborative project (whose participants I have tagged) and inspired by the Fireball from Star Wars: Resistance.

Bits of this model existed since as early as 2021, and has been a background project ever since, both as digital and physical tablescraps.

Originally intended as a rebuild of the Fireball, a ship I have built before when I was less experienced with serious MOC building. I decided to complete it and give it the best paint job.

As usual, I will not attempt to create instructions, a skillset I have neither the time nor desire to dabble in. Please respect my reasons.

Back again with another vignweek build, this build depicts what may be everyday life in the future, for those who live on mars at least, remember let me know what you think of this build in the comments!

"I have the Bridge"

I am still making progress. I decided to tackle the bridge area next and make sure that area is solid. After that I need to fill in the top and to a last couple additions around the Moc. We're getting close!

FebRovery 2022, installment 10.

Since none of the wheels are technically functional this is a display model only, but the big basket drive wheel was worth it.

For FebRovery 2022 installment 12 we're going back to the dawn of the space age.

This "Apollo-style" moon rover is just the thing when every kilo you want to bring with you requires about 20 kilos of rocket propellant. I've tried to match the sort of thing the first moon landers took with them, but this is "inspired by" rather than a slavish copy.

This ship is uniquely capable of creating separations in spacetime and opening rifts in the fabric of the universe through which it can travel great distances in an instant.

Rocket in the spirit of "Neo Classic Space"

A display on the theme of space without rocket is not a real space display ^^

I hit a wall while working on the Fireball, which is why there has been very little change since the last WIP pic. That gave me an excuse to take a break and start on the other Aces as well.

Green Ace and Black Ace are complete! Yellow Ace is about halfway done. Not pictured are Red and Blue Ace.

I have been tinkering with Torra Doza's Blue Ace racer since I started on the Fireball (around a month now) but it has proven extremely difficult because of it's rounded shape. It's basically a Porsche 917K but in space, and Porsches are difficult to get right with LEGO because of the insane curves.

Just this morning I finalized a design for Blue Ace's front, a heavily complex design that has been giving me headaches for a week now. All I have left to do is reinforce the internal structure along with the cockpit, and then build the rest of the craft which shouldn't be too hard.

And then build Red Ace, which should be fairly easy.

So I guess a batch of these racers from Star Wars: Resistance will be published... this weekend? Next week?

Soon...

(Also, yes. Custom stickers!)

Astrotech P4 In season 12 of the Galactic Speeder League, Astrotech is another rookie team in the Unlim class. However, they enter an absolute beast that seems likely to grab some victories in its first year!

Things have been so crazy busy at work the last few weeks its been hard to focus on my Legography, but I’ve finally gotten around to process and edit the sequel image to Test Flight Preparations (flic.kr/p/x76V4A). Here we have Captain Robert Knight of Nova Team making his final inspection of the prototype LL-962 “Arrow” before he takes the fighter out on her maiden test flight. Behind him we see Chief Engineer Milton Mason making some last minute adjustments to the port side engine manifold assembly. You can see details images of the LL-962 here: flic.kr/p/xy7Frt

"When the New Republic under Mon Mothma approved the construction of a defensive fleet after the Battle of Endor, the technicians of the Nadiri Dockyards were asked to build a new class of battleships from captured Imperial ships. The Starhawk-class, that was intended to help with the destruction of the imperial fleet’s scattered remnants. resulted from this recycling process. Those heavy battleships could definitely take on an imperial star destroyer, although they were registered as “defensive fleet”. This became possible through unusually strong tractor beam emitter, which were able to captivate the star destroyers. They were furthermore equipped with a very powerful armament consisting of laser canons, ion torpedoes and turbolaser phalanxes.

A total of probably three of these large ships were produced and all three were involved in the battle over Jakku, during which, however, two of the three Starhawks were destroyed."

After many months of hard work I'm proud to present this new version of the Starhawk which has greatly improved from the previous 2019 version. It contains a total of 9670 parts, weights approximately 7.1 kg and measures 95 x 48 x 39 cm. Overall, it was a lot of fun to revisit this build and improve it.

Shoutout to Sebastian Neuß from Brickmoon and Tobias Nieder from The-Brick-Collective for helping me out in the development of building instructions and full building kits!

Well, after watching my poor Explorien starship for a while I decided it has to be modded. This gave birth to the idea to make a big Startron MOC based on the old ship. And here she is 😉😉 .

She’ll have battery box, foldable weapons, modular structure, hangar bay, small attack craft, and she will be lit by LEDs, yup that includes her engines as well!

Finally acquired a couple of these Nexo Knights windscreen elements and decided to build a nice little Ice Planet fighter to showcase one of them. I'm calling it the "Winterspike" because most of the other names that seemed appropriate (Ice Dagger, Snowhawk etc) seem to already be taken.

Many changes had to be made to the way House Atreides ruled the worlds under their charge. Oceans and greenery had been switched out for desert tundras and unbearable heat, in what felt like over night. Their technological might was flawed in a place such as Arrakis. Luckily there was one thing proven to work. A sport-flying vehicle designed by a political dissident nearly 17,000 years prior. The Ornithopter. Taking its inspiration from the flexibility of birds, it flaunted its skill at navigating atmospherics. This would be House Atreides first step, and hope, into regaining control.

This moc was originally reverse engineered and inspired by the slightly smaller Ornithopter by the amazing @bricksized on instagram! Go see the model on their page and check out the helpful instructions that are provided to help make your own!
