A small city block with a great dumpling spot, a vending machine and vintage vinyl shop. Thinking I'll add this to my lego city eventually, maybe once I have a dedicated lego room.
Chase and Jenn had a busy night last night, stopping this guy in his tracks as he tried to steal a taxi cab! He thought it was empty but little did he know, the driver and owner was taking a nap in the back seat!

Made for a photoshoot, this LEGO city took me just under 2 weeks to build and is modularised. As for how many bricks, I have no idea....
What I do know it was a lot of fun to put in all the little fun details, a few jokes in there for those with a keen eye.
As always a big thanks to Rob Deakin for his Brick printing.
We call this guy "I do good job, you pay cash" as a bit of a take on tradesmen, although I doubt LEGO city will get much done with a guy like this around.

Now built in real life!
It started out as a MOD of set 40650, but finally became a totally different model.
7 studs wide and 1 stud longer than the mentioned set, the MOC is now in 1/32 scale and matches gauge 1 railway models. Also, it now has the distinctive "barrel side" waistline and the triple rear window, both missing on the 40650 model.
The colour scheme with its black hood and roof is inspired by the 2015 "Autobiography Edition".

The part I enjoy the most in any project is trying to find new uses for "specialty elements. So when I saw both the snitch and parrots could work nicely for the radiator caps and eagles I knew I had to try and build it. Building at 1:200 scale proved a bit difficult though if I wanted to get the right proportions for the windows. That took some time, and in the end I only got about down to the waist of the building before the submission deadline for marchitecture 2025. I'm still happy that I was able to finish the spire though, even if it looks a bit plain.
I builded! On/off project for months in between moving house and 2016 in general. Most of it has an interior too but difficult to photograph so may be do expanded stuff or recycling later.

I built Emmet's car and then sold it. Built another one because I regretted selling haha! I know... silly. XD I realised last year's big City set Capital city has this same car build but in orange. Had to build it for the collection. ;D

I know I know hahaha... the car doesn't fit into the garage fully... ^_^V that's because of the hose which is supposed to be the electric charging point... I guess this will do... I ran out of tiles and some bricks.
