Welcome to NEW HASHIMA(端島) - Sector 08. Built on the remnants of the old Hashima Island mining colony after overpopulation forced consideration of innovative development options. Sector 08 is home to middle through upper-class citizens of NewHashima and holds many of the more beautiful structures found in the island mega-city.

"Remains of civilization"

"The swamps. Back in the days the main point of industry, nowadays a dangerous and polluted area. I am standing at the end of the road, from now on there's only the remains of what used to be pipeline to provide the fabrics with water. And I have to cross this polluted area to get back to New York downtown, where the last remains of humans can be found. My plane crashed during a reconnaissance flight over the remains of Philadelphia and it took me one year to find New york. Even though New York City is only a few miles away, it feels like it is hundred of miles away. It might take me some time to get through this area or it might not. Whatever, time is nothing these days..."

Finally a new build from me and I personally would say, it is not my best but still turned out decently. I was able to try some new techniques and to mess around with some unique parts. Especially in terms of vegetation and terrain this build gave me some good lessons and I have learned some useful new stuff for future builds. Overall this build took around one and a half week and it's based on 16x32 studs.All close-ups are visible on my Flickr now and I might be doing a small YouTube video about it as well. Enter 1994’s Saucer Scout to round out my Spyrius collection

This set felt ubiquitous as a kid. I had it, and I’m pretty sure most of my friends did too back then. It’s about as simple yet effective as LEGO can get with a spacecraft!

So for the line that gave my generation the first leg prints, with Major Kartofski, LEGO doesn’t give too much diversity among the Spyrius crew (outside of the Big One).

Enter the Spyrius-verse, anyone?

As a huge fan of Spyrius, I’m very happy to have this little set back in the collection.

After a few days of work and a couple of livestreams the LEGO Supermarket is finally done!

The build is done on top of two 32x32 baseplates and could easily be modified to fit in the LEGO modular system to apply into LEGO Cities.

AMC sure was a strange company. I had fun designing and building all the different versions. There is a regular sedan, patrol car, wagon, wagon with wood paneling, and two sporty coupes. I hope y'all enjoy making these as much as I did!

How’d you do with these CMFs?

I think it took me 5 orders from Amazon (US) to get the second half of the figures- very bad luck. (I could feel through bags, so I didn’t open anything further then the box’s tape seal and returned as necessary). As opposed to my Marvel CMF order, which was 2/2.

This might be the last CMF series for me with a price hike and paper packaging imminent. Unless they do more Marvel, of course.

These goofy figures are great. I plan on spreading them throughout the modulars
