Had to redo it to fit the new system anyway, so I took the opportunity to shrink the footprint and update the design slightly. Quite pleased with the result.

Gained a bit of space so the plan is to do a little courtyard area with some greenery in front of the train station.
You can also see how easily I am making this new city modular when compared to pic #24a.

It was a fun challenge to design a wall that would fit at a 45 degree angle like this. I'm quite pleased with the result.

My new Guardian Building model made its debut as part of the annual Michigan LEGO Train Club (MichLTC) display at the Henry Ford Museum on November 23rd, 2014. I believe that this display which contains six skyscraper models over 5 feet high is MichLTCs largest LEGO skyline EVER! The display runs from November 24th through January 4th, 2015.
Detroit building models in the layout include the following (*= I built it):
1. Guardian Building*
2. Buhl Building
3. Ford Building*
4. Greater Penobscot Building (includes 1905, 1913, and 1928 Penobscot Buildings)*
5. Savoyard Center*
6. Dime Building / Chrysler House
7. David Stott Building*
8. 25 State Street (former Cunningham Drugs / Colonial Dept. store)*
9. Union Depot train station*
10. 1001 Woodward.
There are more photos in my www.brickshelf.com folder.
Free instructions, parts list, and stud.io file for this 9 wide dump truck are on my Rebrickable page!

NEW HASHIMA(端島) - Sector 08 - Welcome to New Hashima
————————————
Some photos from the most recent iteration of my New Hashima collaborative project. This time even bigger and with 11 total builders. I will have more photos and better edited photos once I’ve had the time to put things together! Enjoy!
————————————
Welcome to NEW HASHIMA(端島) - Sector 08. Built on the remnants of the old Hashima Island mining colony after overpopulation forced consideration of innovative development options. Sector 08 is home to middle through upper-class citizens of NewHashima and holds many of the more beautiful structures found in the island mega-city.

1997’s Robo Master, the Big One from the bizarre RoboForce sub-theme!
That neon dome! And all the prints! It’s like a better version the Blacktron 2 pods, but it’s on this weird Beast Wars mecha. And it doesn’t detach to fly off. Bummer.
What does detach to fly off is pretty cool for how simplistic it is: a smaller Unitron Star Hawk II (#1789). A set design from another far superior Space sub-theme.
I don’t mean to hate on RoboForce this much, it looks cool, has tons of prints, neon transparent elements, and great minifigs with leg prints and updated helmet sculpts! All of that is awesome!
But why wasn’t this designed as a spacecraft? It would have been among the best. LEGO hadn’t figured out Mechs in ‘97, but they sure have now.
Final thought, what was the tail thing?
A weapon? A ‘robot’? A charger for the spacecraft?
More Retro Space LEGO sets to be featured soon, including more RoboForce

After a few days of work and a couple of livestreams the LEGO Supermarket is finally done!
The build is done on top of two 32x32 baseplates and could easily be modified to fit in the LEGO modular system to apply into LEGO Cities.

Build something fun today!
Will be part of phase 2.
And yeah, my railroad tracks are getting a huge upgrade.

I'm pretty busy, so I usually don't take that many requests, but I was asked to make a dually Dodge Ram 3500. Considering the scale of the vehicle and that Lego mudguards can be kind of restrictive sometimes, this was quite the challenge, but after many attempts, I am very happy with the results! I used some fun tricks throughout the build including some cool bracket work and SNOT techniques. Overall I had a lot of fun designing and building this one and I hope you do too!
President Business and Mayor Fleck met for the first time on their way to work this morning. They discussed Mr Business's idea of bringing a fun fair to LEGO City. Surely there's nothing CRAZY about that!

In celebration of my 20,000th picture upload to Flickr, I give you a look at something that combines both my LEGO and our retail interests: a proper LEGO department store made from LEGO in minifigure scale.

I have the two cargo train cars already, bought them many years ago from my local Ebay seller (then) I had some extra mudguards recently and I thought hey, why not build another blue car... So I bought the balance parts and viola! I swapped the windscreen to look like the white car version so there is some variation. Happy with another cute car... :D
Big Boat with 2 walls in arrow form. Several boat at few KMs of Coast when there is a Earthquake alarm. The Wave will hit the boats and will lose some power. There are a little landing strip and two helicopter place.

1993’s Blizzard Baron enters the LEGO City from Ive Planet 2002!
An OG Hoth snowspeeder, who doesn’t love that?
This set has a couple classic Ice Planet prints, cool minifig with accessories, and a decent amount of neon transparent orange elements for a little ship!
Not only is it a capable little snowspeeder, but it has a detachable communications base/portable science lab. Simple, but a good use of a few parts to bring more story elements to a small build.
I’m happy to have this guy added to my Ice Planet 2002 fleet. Did you have this set? Does it hold up as interesting to a modern audience? Anyone know why it’s also called the Ice Planet Vx122?
I’ll be looking at more retro LEGO soon, including more Space!
