Kashmir, The Live Led Zeppelin Show was created by vocalist Jean Violet back in 2000. It has grown from the streets of New York City to now being one of the top Led Zeppelin Tribute bands touring nationally and internationally. Kashmir’s primary focus is capturing the live performance and raw energy of a Led Zeppelin show.
Time and time again audience members who meet and greet with Kashmir after a show tell them how they felt as if they went back in time to a Led Zeppelin concert that they attended or how younger members of the audience will tell the band how it was the closest experience that they will ever get to a Live Led Zeppelin performance.
Yes, the singer looks and sounds a lot like Robert Plant and the band shares the authenticity, appearance and sound of the great Led Zeppelin but more importantly the band wants to share the energy and the experience that Led Zeppelin created while on tour. The band calls it “The Zone” and they want everyone to share that same electromagnetic experience after leaving a Kashmir show like so many Zep fans did in the past while watching the great Led Zeppelin on stage! ~ High energy show that lasted over 2 1/2 hours! Bravo!

Thank you !
Can you believe it has been 50 years since the formation of Led Zeppelin.
Hats off to you gentlemen who took the world by storm and gave to us the very best Rock'n & Blues music ever created.
A triumph for those of you who are fans as we at anytime are able to listen or view Led Zeppelin's monumental conquest.
The photo above was taken in 1968 just as the band transformed from The New Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin.
Lower left is John Paul Jones Keyboard and bass guitar virtuoso.
Going right is Robert Plant vocals and harmonica...the very best there is.
Next is The One THE ONLY John Bonham drummer elite.
Then far right is Jimmy Page guitar extraordinaire and also producer of Led Zeppelin.
John Bonham sadly to say left us in 1980...we all miss you John so very much !
More Thanks goes out to manager of Led Zeppelin Peter Grant and to tour manager Richard Cole.
I also would like to say that i was extremely lucky to see Led Zeppelin at the Montreal Forum on February 6th 1975.
I have so many great vivid memories of this concert.
My favorite delight of the night is when they did No Quarter which was truly an amazing experience.
Thank you !

Yes three bandits (or six, or thirty three). Find all of them?
If you've followed my stream at the weekend, you'll see that three of us Flickries went out on a shoot (from 5am, in fact). We spent just as long together "apres shoot"!

We've chosen to protect the "innocent".
Resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.
And entirely a work of fiction.
Yet the camera never lies.
No "Flickries" were harmed in the making of this image (apart from the hangover, hic).

The First Album of the new genre of Heavy Metal!
I remember still the day I heard Zeppelin for the first time on the radio.
It was kind of shocking experience.
There was energy, power and strong emotion.
Yardbirds, The Who, Hendix, Cream - were already on the scene,
but still Zeppelin had something new. The music is rhythm
and blues -based rock with new electronics sounds.
Robert Plants vocals were something never heard before
and Jimmy Pages guitar solos were unbelievable.
What happened in the summer 1969 when I bought this LP?
Apollo XI and the first man on the moon July 20th.!

I was thinking of Led Zeppelin when I saw it!!! (Houses of the Holy, Kashmir you know...)
The reference to Led Zeppelin in this ad reminds me of when Led Z and Iron Butterfly, as part of Manitoba's Centennial Celebrations in 1970, headed what was supposed to be an 11 hour concert - starting at noon - also comprised of other American, Canadian and Manitoba bands . A huge deluge and continuing rain made it impossible to complete the concert in the football stadium, as planned. Most people went home in the resulting chaos, believing that the concert had been washed out.
Hours later, as I recall, we heard on the radio that the Winnipeg (hockey) Arena would become a makeshift venue and that Led Z, a monster band in those days, and Iron Butterfly would play graveyard-shift sets. An article on the concert (link below) states that Led Z's performance, uneven under the circumstances, began after midnight and ended at about 3:00 am. It was a gruelling day for fans and bands alike.
