Smile on Saturday what's in a name. Jon is short for Jonathan which means gift from God. Don't most names mean that. It turns out it was the name of my fifth great grandfather, born in the Carolina colonies around 1750. I don't think my mom knew that. The signature is on an old pen sketch from when I was in art school long time ago. Smile it's Saturday ;-)

The 3 bottom setae jump to the left (for the viewer).
Just having a bit of fun playing around with a kitchen utensil and an egg. There is something so special about an egg. The shape, volume and texture.
Backdrop is a black bath towel. Lit with a combination of an LED flashlight and kitchen lighting. Processed to taste.
Mixed techniques. Cyanotype on Chinese Solar paper and stamping on Japanese mulberry paper with fibres. 3,5h in Led light.
