Great atmosphere from spectators wearing a LED wristband which wirelessly synchronised with National Day's Preview's lights and sounds!
Have a beautiful Sunday!

This photo was taken on the 13th of October 2017. Coincidentally, it was a Friday hence the title! (Not the famous film series)
52 weeks of 2018 … fun with photoprops ...
used props: ledlight, fancy flashbouncer, shell, white paper

For 3 evenings in a row I put different lights on shiny Xmas bags on the floor and moved them around while taking long exposures. At the beginning it was total rubbish and then slowly it got better and then it was fun :) This image was merged from 3 layers.
Colours in rows......
Section of a work lamp with many small LED lights, unlit, but illuminated with multi-colored bulb. Photographed as bokeh effect....

a bit of movement.
This first theme of the new year was a lot of fun to do. Getting the props in balance and the light right to produce more dramatic shadows took a series of new starts (I ruined one LED light on the way ;)
But I quite liked the outcomes, picking one of them for MM is not always easy, I decided to chose the creepiest - looking one. I hope you like it.

🎧 Flipsyse - Shine On Through 🎧
"We all know there'll be some troubles
But even when it storms,
it's love that's gonna shine on through"
(found this song the other day and thought it would be fitting a bit our situation and the Christmas vibes ; ))
🎄Merry Christmas, dear Flickr Friends !

[this is our cabinet with christmas decoration: a stylized porcelain Christmas tree, lit from the inside, fairy lights and LED lights; the three stars I added in Topaz Studio 2 - thought there was something missing ;)) ]
Macro Mondays - theme of March 7, 2022: mesh
This is a 1.7 cm wide tap aerator / flow regulator (to use for the water tap / faucet) which I put on a little colour-changing cone-shaped LED light with a blue glitter foam rubber as background. Additional lighting with a LED torch to create bokeh bubbles
... reminds me somewhat of the engine / warp drive of Star Trek Enterprise ... maybe that's escapism speaking right now : )
taken with the manual LOAWA 60mm f/2.8 ultra macro lens @ f/5.6
HMM
(I will catch up this evening)
Taken with Canon FD 100mm F4 Macro / 50mm extension tube (1:1 macro) / Full frame sensor / LED light.
When I started my experiments on monochrome pictures I had the idea to use my Grandma's blue lead cristal wineglass to get some transparency and light effects. I didn't think of the refraction and the colours coming with it. So the results were quite nice but not at all monochrome. (see foto above)
So I put a piece of blue silk cloth into the glass and the glass into a big blue glass bowl, lit with a small LED light from the outside. I came out with a capture of a very small part of the stem of the glass looking a bit spacy to me. That gave me the idea for the title.
Enjoy the trip to a Galactic Empire and HMM to all participants. 💙🌐💙
Sigma 18-50mm on Canon R7. Limited macro capability using manual focus. Very handy when just using the lens as a walk around option. Coughton Court National Trust.
Macro Mondays theme Radiant. This is an LED light bulb. One coil, less than an inch. You can see the individual connection in the tube. It is the only light source. Happy Macro Mondays. the old photographer,;-)
I have always wanted to try this with a zoom lens on our Christmas tree. It was a lot easier than I thought, and fun too. Nice to have the tree down now...no more needles to step on.
Thanks for views, comments and favs :)
Manchmal gelingt solch ein "Lichtgefälle". Ohne die LEDs auf meiner Makrooptik wäre es schwierig geworden.
Illuminated with the LEDs on my macro optics.
Macro Mondays
Theme: Vegetables
Size: Less than 3 x 3 inches
There were no shortage of subjects for this week's theme.
Luckily there were a few old carrots with shoots and I chose this one that appears like a small tree ( 1 cm in height ) and I use a couple of slices of purple onion for the background.
There were 2 light sources, one LED light behind the onion slices and a fluorescent light at 9 o'clock.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and favs..it is always appreciated.

I used the Raynox lens again to get really close.
