Photographed during a traffic stop in Morgan Hill, CA. Note how small this 1980's Mitsubishi built Dodge Ram 50 pickup looks compared to both the police car and to today's midsize pickups.

Both of these CDF-Cal Fire trucks are older 1989-2001 International 4000 series, Model 14 or 15 Type III wildland fire engines. Seen here responding Code 3 to the scene of the Applegate Wildfire. They are driving in the emergency lane on I80 north of Sacramento. I took these shots through the rearview mirror of my car, I flipped these photos around so you don't see the trucks backwards. Both of these engines have a newer LED lightbar and after market reflector optic LED headlights.
Photographed in San Jose, CA. I definitely like the graphics on this van but it would look much better if has a Red lens lightbar instead of this clear lens one in front.
SV Lights used our Land Rover Discovery 4 x 4 capacity to assist in rescues during the recent flooding in the south west.

This is either a Freightliner 108SD or 114SD setback 5 axle flatbed semi truck with a tractor mounted Palfinger crane. (The SD stands for severe duty). I'm guessing this was a private crew doing contract work for PG&E. The roof mounted LED warning lights on this truck are super bright. Photographed and filmed by me in Livermore, CA - this short clip is the 1st video I have uploaded to my Flickr acct. Another one of my many photos of the tow truck fleet from Palace Garage Towing Recovery. Palace has one of the largest Freeway Service Patrol contracts in Alameda County. The unique taillight arrowboards that they have on their tow trucks are visible from miles away and should be utilized on all recovery trucks.
I photographed this last generation 2011-2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty regular cab base model CHP pickup near the Applegate wildfire along I80 on October 8, 2014.
These are some more shots that I took back in October 2014 when I80 eastbound got completely shut down due to a large brush fire.

SV Lights Land Rover Discovery fitted with a Whelen Liberty Wecan Light Bar.
Our Land Rover Discovery was recently used to great effect in the flooding in the South West of England to rescue a number of stranded vehicles and drivers.
All drivers at SV Lights are trained by Land Rover Experience in the appropriate use of 4 x 4 vehicles in adverse conditions.
