That's from the vine covering one side of our garden wall. I let the vine cover a large area basically for this time of the year and the colour explosion it creates.

and to let you know that these leaves had fallen in our rain barrel between
our house and the surrounding woods.

My wife knows that I like to photograph leaves, and she brought these back from a tree in our neighborhood. We don't see much color like this in San Diego county.
Lighting stuff: Soft even light using two YN560-III's in identical 24 inch soft boxes on either side pointing at the center at a 45 degree angle. The strobes, in manual mode, were triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
I find leaves to be beautiful, and have an album of leaf pictures, if you like that sort of thing..
They are no more than four leaves with different levels of decay that, like the days of this macabre 2016, will give way to other new leaves full of greenery and new wise.
I only hope that the coming days of 2017 will be conducive to us, full of peace, joy, solidarity and happiness for all.
I know it's a lot to ask, but if we all do our bit, I remain hoping to get a better world.
Just wanting it is not enough, but I have no more power to change the world.

No son más que cuatro hojas de plátano con distinto nivel de decadencia que al igual que los días de este macabro 2016 darán paso a otras hojas nuevas llenas de verdor y sabia nueva.
Solo espero que los días venideros del próximo 2017 nos sean propicios, llenos de paz, alegría, solidaridad y felicidad para todos.
Ya sé que es mucho pedir, pero si todos ponemos nuestro granito de arena, me quedo con la esperanza de conseguir un mundo mejor.
Con solo desearlo no basta, pero no tengo más poder para cambiar el mundo.

So I guess it's fall now! Only a small number of leaves are changing and falling so far, so I gathered a few of the best ones from two nearby trees together for this shot. People are going to ask if I intensified the colors and the answer is yes- I did adjust them in Lightroom Mobile. Do people want to see the unadjusted raw for comparison?
