Our red mape tree just got it's leaves in time for Macro Monday's "Just Leaves"

HMM!

Fall colors amid green

Orange beauties in our backyard garden...

Serviceberry bushes/trees not only provide lovely color in the fall, but they also produce delicious berries for birds and humans to enjoy.

The red berries can be eaten raw, cooked, or dried. They make delicious jams and jellies and even teas. Their taste is similar to blueberries.

Other names for serviceberries are sugarplum, juneberry, and shadblow.

Multicoloured autumn leaves in sunshine.

I think it looks like a fish!? Looking Close on Friday! Creative with Leaves

There is a crack in everything.

Macro Mondays. This week's theme: "My daily routine". I have to empty the leaf skimmer baskets of the swimming pool daily.

I have taken so many snaps here and don't know which one to upload. --- I'm heavily addicted to autumn leaves!

I was a bit lazy this weekend, so I am posting a shot that I took a few weeks ago.

Taken with my brand new old Russian Helios lens.

The final oak leaves of the season.

Canon 40D, Sigma 18-200 OS

The trees are finally turning, the autumn colours are all around. Get out there and take in the splendour that is the most colourful of seasons.

November leaves, snow is gone.

They may look like normal size leaves, but these are miniature Oak leaves growing off of that single little stem that has broken out from the trunk of the tree.

This tree is in my landscape and these triplet beauties caught my eye as I was cutting the grass yesterday.

In the house I went, grabbed my macro lens, and captured them from several angles. Here is the result.

What is it about autumn leaves that are so beautiful?!
