After a heavy winter rain, I discovered this old, blown away Sweetgum leaf glowing like art glass on the ground. Truly, a marvel of the mundane!

I submitted my picture to Macro Mondays yesterday as we are only allowed one macro per theme, but was inspired by the leaves theme that I had another play today.

... whilst basking in Aussie sunshine

I went to the canal with my friend to see it when all the leaves had fallen but they were still hanging on so I went back and got to see the beautiful colours of the fallen leaves I even took one home to do some crafts with will post it next....
