A cloudy morning but a tip from Todd R was enough to get me to the Nemadji River to shoot inbound train 493 with CP 6223 leading.

This is an old film scanned that i thought to edit while i had a bit of time. It took ages to remove all the small dust and particles.
probably because i didn't really look after the film because i wasn't a massive fan of this shot.
I like these posts in the water, resisting the waves crashing into them, and leading to water.
Taken yesterday just half a mile from my home on my little Canon M50 mirrorless camera. Because of Covid restrictions, we are not allowed to travel out of our immediate area.

The Byron Bay Light house, New South Wales, Australia. I seem to have quite a collection of light house shot from this holiday. I loved the interesting sky.
Last night as we were just finishing up dinner, my son commented on the sky about how ominous this storm looked. Living very close to the foothills, we can look out over the plains and see some incredible cloud formations and storms as they push their way east. Last night's show was near the top of the list!
Thanks for your views and comments!
RKO_93333. iPhone shot.
Waking up and discovering a little pack of snow in the garden. Not much but enough to take my camera and take some shots of the mills near my house.

These yearlings followed their mother down from the top of the falls, traversing this large rock in the middle and to the lower river bed.

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo trail can be crowded, and difficult, in places, to get a people-free shot. I decided to embrace the chaos in this shot, as Kim leads a group of hikers up a steep section of trail.
A cool little flock of lighthouses I found in a 2nd shop. They all had clips on small chains screwed into the top (I took them out). I think they might be tablecloth weights. Anyone have any other ideas?
Taken for Macro Mondays 'In A Row' theme (7-10-2019). HMM :-)
Photo is 7.5cm side to side. One extension tube used.

My love is in league with the freeway
Its passion will ride, as the cities fly by
And the tail-lights dissolve, in the coming of night
And the questions in thousands take flight
My love is the miles and the waiting
The eyes that just stare, and the glance at the clock
And the secret that burns, and the pain that won't stop
And its fuel is the years
Leading me on - leading me down the road
Driving beyond
Driving me down the road.
Just enough snow to leave some tractor tracks visible. E-MI MKII/12-40mm.

Thin white line between fast approaching cloud front and open sky over Mt Somerville from the Queensland Gold Coast hinterland. Late afternoon.
I was out on Christmas eve in the misty conditions and came across the disappearing lines to a Pylon in the mist.
I have a single photo of the pylon out of shot,on right to upload another time.
A bit different i thought.
I'm not quite sure what this Magpie was doing , but it appears he is leading this flight of Mallards...

Glancing the old photos, I found this image taken about 6 years ago. It was taken in a night after photographing northern lights near Kangerlussuaq Airport in Greenland. This is a small airport, but it plays a vital role for air transportation to and from Greenland. I still remembered walking along the only road in the area, these lights led us back to the airport.
