The history of bottle stoppers goes back to the early days of wine production, when wine was stored and transported in wooden barrels. To prevent the wine from oxidizing, a piece of bladder was used to seal the barrel. This method of sealing evolved over time, leading to the development of more massive bottle stoppers

At the crossroads of the Flint and Holly Subs, what was one of the busiest diamonds during the peak of the passenger era, Burdakin Blue has made a comeback. Leading L500 into Durand, the fresh heritage leader looks right at home as they prepare to work the yard before heading over to Flint for the night.
This little fellow has chosen my terrace as residency and seems to like it there. I hope she'll forgive me for spreading a mist of water on her web for the sake of getting a nice picture. 😊
Could not resist taking this view vertical with the leading line heading into the Grand Canyon. One cool bench there.
Happy Bench Monday!
Playing with composition in this good location....a shame the fields are potatoes and not Lavender.....but more useful!
This is the Museum Küppersmühle (MKM) in Duisburg which was a former industrial mill and it is been transformed now into an art museum. This was done by the same architects which transformed the Modern Tate in London, Herzog & de Meuron.

Fantastic conditions this morning at the beach of IJmuiden. Briefly the sun was shining. You can imagine I was happy to be just out of reach for the rain that was clearly falling in the background.
I love the leading line on this one! It just seemed to catch my eye when I was going through the archives! I don't know if that was intentional, or just luck! ha! It was too long ago for me to remember! Sometimes I actually get things right! haha!
This is out in the fields at Roozengaarde. Like my previous post stated, both Roozengaarde and Tulip Town have fields and gardens; they each just are more prominent in one over the other. Roozengaarde's fields have the mountains as a backdrop, whereas the backdrop for Tulip Town are the barns. Well, Tulip Town you can see hills, but they're not so prominent.
Hope you all enjoy!
