Un couple de chevreuils s'est invité un jour de mai dans mon jardin. Ils venaient matin et soir pour grignoter tout ce qu'ils trouvaient, très intrigués par mon objectif mais pas effrayés. Ils sont venus durant presque 2 mois. Je me suis toujours demandé comment ils étaient arrivés jusqu'à chez moi. Je ne les ai jamais revus. Une belle rencontre...

Les bourdons sont des pollinisateurs beaucoup plus efficaces que les abeilles mellifères ; ils butinent principalement le pollen plutôt que le nectar et transfèrent davantage de pollen aux pistils à chaque visite.

Nous avons bénéficié de quelques heures de ciel bleu pour profiter de ce panorama exceptionnel, mais s'annoncent ici les prémisses de la prochaine perturbation ...

For the last ten days or so we've been enjoying lots of rain and storms and yesterday evening Bob took us out to our usual walk along the former railway line between Sillans-la-Cascade and Pontevès shortly after a storm had hit the area and as the storm clouds cleared, the sky became this gorgeous orange colour. That's Château Duvivier you can see amongst the trees. As I'm typing this we are at the tail end of a powerful storm over our house which has lasted for about 1.5 hours with giant hailstorms, rain and thunder and lightning. This particular storm is the most rain we've seen in the last two years. It will help us with the drought conditions we are in at the moment

Ces jolis trams appelés « Remodelado » remontent aux années 1930 et seraient, en temps normal, dans les musées d’un grand nombre de villes. Toutefois, ils font partie intégrale du réseau de transports en commun de Lisbonne.
Ces tramways historiques sont toujours utilisés, car l’itinéraire emprunté par le tramway 28 n’est absolument pas approprié aux trams modernes : la route contient des virages bien trop serrés et des changements de pente trop abrupts.
