Les Tartines (English: the slices of bread) is a rock formation in the Ourthe valley near Comblain-au-Pont in the Belgian province of Liège. It is located within the Les Tartines nature reserve, which has been a protected area since 1949.
The formation owes its name to rock slabs that are folded in such a way that they protrude vertically from the rock face like upright slices of bread.

Entre le "mon" et le "le", j'ai opté pour le "le" afin de lui laisser sa pleine liberté...
Le bel inconnu est venu tourbillonner au-dessus des fleurs de notre jardin pour finalement se poser et butiner sur un des phlox...
Mes recherches sur le Web me laissent à penser qu'il pourrait être un papillon du céleri...femelle...tel que décrit et illustré ici...

Le petit port, situé au sud de l'archipel, a été construit sur un groupe d'îles au pied d'une falaise surplombant la mer.
Le village est relié à l'île principale par plusieurs ponts.

Boardwalk in the Fagne Wallonne
The reserve is one of the wettest and coldest parts of Belgium.
It is frequently shrouded in mist and low cloud. It has a subalpine climate with strong winds and fierce winters, which are occasionally subarctic. The Fagnes plateau intercepts clouds brought by the prevailing Atlantic winds, and this results in copious precipitation, with an average of 1,400 millimetres (55 in) of rain per year. However, beneath the fragile composition of the overlying soils are rocky beds and clay that prevent infiltration of water and thus create the conditions for wetlands, marshes and bogs.
