This is a time laps of 20 min of me drawing. Please let me know if you guys are interested in seeing more (if not that is completely fine DON'T feel compelled!!) Also if you would like me to do something different please let me know! (Like some people might want to see what pencils I'm using or something... I don't know.) God bless y'all!
Kaiser usually settles on Astrida's lap . Just recently Henry jumps up on the lap too and settles on top of Kaiser. He is very light and Kaiser just puts up with it. Maybe Henry is using him as a cushion.
Definitely running out of pics now (I'm always saying that of course) this one is going back to March and I'm pulling off a more ladylike pose for once up on the counter. Ten seconds isn't a huge amount of time to get set, so my hands are usually still either side of me where I've had to strain every sinew to lift my old aching body into position 😀 Must have got lucky I guess, plus the worktop is somewhat free of detritus for once which is most surprising.

Aline foi minha amiga de faculdade e guardo muitas lembranças divertidas dela :)
Mas além de divertida, a Preá (esse era o apelido dela rs) era dona de uma criatividade e talento incríveis.
Ela adorava escrever cartões e cartas e esse era o ENVELOPE (!) onde ela enviava as cartas dela (eu tenho várias).
Era assim..... TUDO feito à mão, lindo, desenhado!
Tinha piadas, tinha versos, tinha texto bíblico, tinha recadinhos pro carteiro ♥
O mais impressionante é que ela desenhava direto e o tempo todo. Sem rascunho, sem edição, sem lápis nem borracha.
Pegava um envelope branco, uma caneta nanquim 0.001 (ela defendia aquela bendita caneta com a própria vida! hahahaha) e durante uma aula chata de Farmacologia, produzia uma obra de arte.
Eu ficava (e fico até hoje) admirada!....

Lap rail fence, old barbed wire, and vintage electric fence on the perimeter of our home. We love the old fence and will only replace what must be replaced to keep it up.
Despite the stormy seas a short distance away, this swimmer is determined to do his laps! Seen at the Freshwater Beach rock pool, Sydney.
Last week we started to become concerned about Sally.
I had taken her back to the vets about a week after all the cats were at the studio. She has a slight cough, and I wanted t o make sure she wasn't experiencing any latent symptoms from the smoke.
Her lungs were fine, but they thought she might be fighting some kind of upper respratory irritation, and gave her a 2 week antibiotic shot.
After another week or so, Nancy noticed that she didn't seem to be eating or drinking and had lost a considerable amount of weight.
I was too sick to get to her for a few days, but as soon as I examined her, I took her right back to the vet.
She was back to being just about as skinny as when I first found her! It was alarming.
They ran blood work, took ex-rays, and gave her the once over. Although she had lost significant weight, she was still in good health.
They gave her some fluids and gave me an appetite stimulant to give her.
Larry and I decided to bring her back to the apt. so we could keep a closer eye on her.
She seemed to perk up almost right away!
She's simply THRILLED to be around Larry, and follows him everywhere.
I was afraid the puppy would add extra stress on her, but she isn't even phased!
She seems relaxed and happy, and the good news is she's starting to nibble on her food and drink more.
This nice little harbour area had lovely open air restaurants where you could eat beside the lapping waters. Our hotel can be seen up on the hillside. Very high ISO on this shot so excuse the slight grainy texture.
Really enjoyed having a walk in the sun this morning at Kingsgate Bay, near Broadstairs, with the waves lapping onto the beach.
Chipmunk lapping up tree sap earlier this spring. I had never paid close attention to squirrels and chipmunks gnawing on bark to get sap to flow but for some reason this year I saw so many of them doing this for a brief period. I even managed to get a few photos of this behavior. Sap must be a tasty treat in late winter/early spring!

"The Renault 5 Campus was a limited edition run‑out model from the final days of the popular French hatchback. This example, registered in August 1995 has had just one owner from new and is showing 113,109 miles on its odometer. It has an MoT valid until August 2022.
"The paperwork includes the V5C, along with the current MoT certificate. There's also the book pack with owner's manual, UK network list, radio/cassette instructions and service book, although this is only stamped up to 6872 miles in 1996. However, there is quite a large stack of history dating back to the early days of the car. This includes an 1995 newspaper advert and review, the original bill of sale and other correspondence with the supplying dealership. It looks like practically every invoice for the car has been preserved, along with old tax discs and MoT certificates back to 1998.
Being original, this Renault 5 does show some signs of its age, including a metal bracket holding the offside rear bumper edge in place."

Salters Lake is a Carolina Bay lake at Jones Lake State Park in Bladen County, North Carolina. The lake is quite remote. There are no homes or recreation facilities on the lake that is 3 miles from the park headquarters.
