Communities across the Haiyan corridor (Coron; Iloilo, Guiuan, Marabut, Salcedo, Sulu-an and Tacloban) come together during the Open House on Resilience: Economy, Community, Ecology - Celebrating Community Resilience at the RE Charge Philippines Facility in Tacloban City, November 5, 2019. These survivors shared their stories and efforts on utilizing local solutions to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The aim of the NILM Workshop is to bring together all the researchers that are working on the topic of energy disaggregation in both academia and industry. The primary goal is to provide a convenient forum to share common research goals and identify common themes for collaboration.
CIFOR-ICRAF has organized a one-day training event that aims to disseminate the science-based technique and lessons learned, and to share with the various stakeholders in blue carbon – that is, policymakers, practitioners, the private sector, academicians and researchers, as well as civil society – all relevant technical knowledge related to blue carbon monitoring and development.

From 23–25 June 2025, 30 restoration professionals from the GLFx chapters, the GLF Restoration Stewards program, Regreening Africa and K4GWWA gathered at the CIFOR-ICRAF Nairobi campus in Kenya to learn how to strengthen their work through a systems approach that builds bridges between stakeholders across levels and sectors.
