The flowers on the counter-top are from my grandparents. Grandparents are great like that.

Used a fake shift method. Godox ad360 on camera right and a speed light in the adjoining room.

This 1920's home had lots of charm but lacked the space and convenience of a modern kitchen. Where are the countertops? The current dining room was large compared to the kitchen and underutilized. The existing laundry/pantry was tucked in a corner with two doorways (waste of space) and the tiny half bathroom was almost useless. After touring the home and speaking with the homeowners we came up with the following design. We opened the kitchen to the dining room and subsequently to the rest of the house. This allowed the feeling of more space and lots of natural light. We also closed off the laundry area to the dining and kitchen and incorporated it into a new full bathroom with laundry facility (see McGuire in Bathroom Portfolio). The homeowners are delighted with the new layout and even sent out Christmas cards to their friends and family with their children's picture and a note saying "Happy Holidays from our new Kitchen!"

Simple and clean kitchen design. Loves the orange tiles on the wall.

Here is my latest doll set. I'm not completely happy with it yet. I really struggled with the doors to the patio and they still are not quite right. I'm limited by my skill set and general knowledge. I started with a kitchen set I bought on Ebay and then I added a few other Barbie Kitchen accessories. I made the table, chairs and other structures using foam board and balsa wood. I also need a better backdrop for the backyard/patio area.

a rustic kitchen- simple but efficient- we learned to do with less here since we spent most of the time outside.

There is a outdoor kitchen too where Curt cooks his kind of supper... barbecue...

My little kitchen in my little apartment. More photos to come! Just need to figure out how to work my camera better.

Should've removed the yellow casting off the ceiling? And should I have cropped in more?

The new kitchen area. We put in granite counter top and refaced the cabinets.

Day four.

Tonight we'll be entertaining guests so I baked us up a batch of raspberry-lemon cupcakes. They look so cute and taste so guud. Can't wait for dinner! Lol.
