my kitchen has been so fragrant lately.

peaches ripening on the table; sage and mint drying (we are freezing too but only in small quantities since space doesn't allow more.) We have cute chiles drying (mind you, we have only one chiles plant, maybe we should get more next year to make our own sriracha since we go on 2+ bottles a year for the two of us.)

the garden is doing ok, except for the millons of cats visiting and pooping everywhere and destroying my baby lettuce plants. I tried everything, really. But it's ok, the sunflowers are starting to bloom, I havest many tomatoes every day and still have few cucumbers and zucchinis every week. We also have lettuce, fresh herbs on hand and it's all that matters.

Builder shoot.

AD200 camera right/back BOC for chairs and counter, AD200 BOC far left kitchen, then far right kitchen, blended, mix with a pinch of ambient. It took more time to arrange the counter than the dang shot.

Fond memories of this private space.

Or more truthfully... Me wearing a "Hell Bunny" Dress in the Kitchen..

Cookery book display in my kitchen

These are the shelves above our sink. They hold all our mixing bowls (only vintage Pyrex!) and our vintage container tins -- plus whatever kitchy cute kitchen things I can find at the thrift store.

Taking sometime away from decorating others projects, and work on my own home for the holidays!

CANARUN essential feature release!

Studio Kitchen

...is a modern dark wood kitchen with LED light accents and shelves that evokes a sleek, sophisticated atmosphere. The dark wood— rich, deep tone like walnut or espresso—gives the space a sense of warmth and elegance. The LED lights are subtly integrated into the design and placed along the edges of shelves or within recessed grooves, casting a soft, ambient glow that enhances the wood’s natural grain.

For the Whispery White Wednesday group.

This week's theme is white kitchens or white things in the kitchen.

I think these shots cover both!

(Can you tell I like to put stuff on the walls?)

A kitchen salad is a salad made with what you have on hand.

Pickled radish, ginger, avocado slices, peppers, tomatoes and mixed greens.

An attractive young woman on the home front prepares a wartime meal. Looks like summertime. Found photo. Interesting how some 1940s hairdos came back in the 1980s.

This is my last full-scale diorama for a while. It was the source of much procrastination and anxiety. Kitchens aren’t my thing, so designing one for Yuri, who can be, um, persnickety, was a daunting task.

I'm making a couple of kitchen towels from a pattern I found in a swedish interior design magazine called Drömhem & trädgård (Dreamhomes & gardens).

Straight out of the camera faffing in the kitchen. I had to completely re-arrange the room to make space.

A potential 52frames submission for week15 ‘In the Kitchen’. One of my first subject ideas for this week although I have since retaken it a few times as well as tried to tackle other kitchen objects.

This is one of the chefs at the Wagamama restaurant in Amsterdam Central Station. They have always have open kitchens and we were lucky enough to get the table with the best view on the kitchen.
