For the Whispery White Wednesday group.

This week's theme is white kitchens or white things in the kitchen.

I think these shots cover both!

(Can you tell I like to put stuff on the walls?)

Ambient with flash layer to hold dynamic range. SB800 into ceiling, SB800 on floor bounced for lower cabinets.

I was sitting at my PC right inside the kitchen door, when they just wandered in like they own the place.

It's all good as long as they don't touch the pink curtains!

Don't let the friendly smile fool you. He is a sociopath that will cut you without the slightest compunction.

The actual smile is exactly 2 inches wide.

The bokeh teeth were a happy accident.

The water spots were an unhappy one.

An attractive young woman on the home front prepares a wartime meal. Looks like summertime. Found photo. Interesting how some 1940s hairdos came back in the 1980s.

this is an old shelf we were given. I meant to restore it but then i realised i'd never get around to it. so it's in the kitchen, proudly 'shabby'.

Made for the March Emmet Awards.

I don't look like this anymore now that I've had a bilateral mammoplasty reduction surgery.

A potential 52frames submission for week15 ‘In the Kitchen’. One of my first subject ideas for this week although I have since retaken it a few times as well as tried to tackle other kitchen objects.

SSC - A Quiet Place

"That special moment when everything is quiet ( difficult at this time of year) but maybe when you’re just having 5 minutes. Or perhaps just before everyone wakes up the streets are still sleepy. Takes us with you for your interpretation of some quiet time.

Have a good week everyone"

At the moment most of my time is spent in a quiet place. My interpretation of this weeks challenge is to go to a place I am always happy. It achieves in so many ways for me, as said it's a place I am always happy, it provides sustenance, allows for creativity, can be shared with friends, and more, it relaxes me and is a place to destress, even simple tasks are therapeutic! Where am I my kitchen of course and in this case preparing breakfast which I think is possibly the most important meal of the day. I look out of my window and I see people hustling off to work, children walking to School, dog walkers with mutts of all shapes and sizes, all whilst I prepare for breakfast!!
