Last night I was looking through the fridge and pantry trying to figure out what to have for dinner. We had some leftovers that no one ever eats but me (so spoiled!) so threw together a pizza dough and topped it with the leftovers...chicken, asparagus, artichoke hearts, onions, garlic etc.. I sneaked in my capers too.

Kitchen sink pizza always turns out well for some reason. It's a mystery I'm not gonna try and solve.

An old and creepy abandoned Kitchen covered in dust and cobwebs.

Experimenting on some older photos with Nik Silver Efex software until I get chance for some new explores.

A red-shouldered hawk hunting for lunch in my backyard. I took the picture through my kitchen window. I had to get a step-stool to get up high enough to shoot though a windowpane above the screen.

I bought a billy bookcase for my kitchen.

A glorious spring morning in the kitchen garden. I've pruned the ceanothus into an arch shape over the entrance into this area, it's a spectacular sight at this time of year. Forget-me-nots are at their best, chives flower in the little raised herb garden, the raspberries are smothered in flower buds, early lettuces are ready for harvest. How I love this time of year!

Hello Flickr!

This is my favourite room in our flat. :)

Though I never watch the show but I find the meme about the show are quite funny and I think it fits well to accompany this build :)

My 12th build from 31 builds that I plan to post everyday for HARDnuary 2015 building challenge.

Yesterday we were talking about men. How to treat them.

Some phrases overheard in the kitchen:

"You should never change your life for a man."

"They have to know, that you are not waiting for them."

"First of all think about to be happy yourself, so others will be more attracted - and - btw - you will be happier even without a man!"

"Ever thought about the guys who annoy you? THEY never quit calling you!"

I hadn't been able to use my old Walimex 8mm fisheye since I went full frame (it produces a truncated circular image) but acquiring a second hand APS-C body led me to get it out of the drawer.

Super clean interior shot for Airbnb (www.airbnb.com). The host was stuck on a conference call the whole shoot, but was a super awesome lady and after a series of bad days I really appreciated her amicable demeanor and the pleasantly nice stylings of her Baltimore City rowhome. Some awesome renovation work!

Afterwards, they always had tea in the kitchen, much the nicest room in the house.

I spy on birds from my kitchen window. I usually get birds that are very common for this area, but occasionally a less common visitor drops in.

The left side of our kitchen and especially everything around our (old) kitchen sink has always been my least favourite part of our kitchen. That definitely changed with our new kitchen. :)
