U.S. Route 1
L'US 1 commence officiellement sur Whitehead Street à Key West, à l'intersection avec Fleming Street.
US 1 officially begins on Whitehead Street in Key West, at the intersection with Fleming Street.
The U.S. Route 1 (also known as U.S. Highway 1, abbreviated as US 1) is a U.S. highway that runs the entire east coast of the country. Starting from Key West in the extreme south of Florida, it goes up to the Canadian border in Maine. Its route was then resumed by Interstate 95 which largely follows it, although it sinks more inland between Jacksonville (Florida) and Petersburg (Virginia).

Today I knew I was going to shoot, but I had no clear concept in mind. I just thought it would be cool to use these keys my mom bought me. I found some artificial lavender too and started thinking what they all could come together and represent. It hit me then -- peace, happiness, and/or serenity. I won't go into much explaining on how they mean that to me though!

Found them in a thrift store this morning.
I guess I'll make some art stuff with them.
Not sure yet what exactly to do with them.
Any suggestions?
I've just taken photographs outside of a temple when an old lady stepped to me. She asked me if i wanted to go in, to take more photos. She gave me the keys of the temple and left me there. It's an amazing feeling to be alone in a church.
Such a handsome Key Rooster. It's too bad I couldn't get the whole rooster in frame. He must be used to people because he kept coming closer to me.

History: Designed and built by Scarano Boat Inc. in Albany, N.Y., the America 2.0 had big shoes to fill. Its 1995 predecessor, the 139-foot America (now berthed in Santa Barbara) won the hearts and minds of many islanders on and off the docks. That ship replicated the original America, a 101-foot sailing vessel that won an 1851 race against 15 yachts of the Royal Yacht Squadron in what would become known forever as the "America's Cup" in honor of that ship. The 1851 original America ended up a blockade-runner for the Confederacy and after the Yankees seized her, became a blockade-buster for the federals. She remained government property until falling victim to a shed collapse in 1945, and with the shed was scrapped and burned. A 170 year history with two replicas built.
America 2.0 (105 feet) replaced the 1995 replica schooner America (139 feet). The '95 replica is now berthed in Santa Barbara, California
The America 2.0, the Adirondack III, the Western Union, the Appledore and many other tall ships are credited with helping
to keep Key West's maritime traditions alive for years to come

An attempt of high key over exposure of the old pier at Swanage.
Trying the over exposure to blend the sky with the sea to create one backdrop.
The correct exposure with the 10 stop filter would of been 15 sec, but this was exposed at 3 minutes.
Notice the Seagulls on the front posts even during this long exposure.
We didn't get to Key West this year so we followed our picadillo meal with Key Lime Pie...another Key West favorite.
The term takes on a new meaning for Key Coaches, as they make the best of Lockdown. S5 is the latest bus to be fully repainted, and the sign-writing was added today. Thanks as always to Stevie Forbes for keeping me informed and sending pictures. I must admit I'm missing my tea and biscuits though, I need to visit soon!
