I now have too many keys. I remember, I think in 1990, it was very groovy to have as many keys and accessories as possible on one's keychain. Now, I worry that all these building keys detract from the simplicity of my perfect keyfob.

This was during my exciting, spontaneous, snowy Reno outing with my cousin and her coworker Eugene... We were actually headed back home at this time...
Our trip in summary:
We left early Sunday morning (February 19) and arrived to our hotel at Best Western Plus Boomtown Casino Hotel. We reserved for only one night. We enjoyed their lobster buffet there...yum! After eating, we drove and explored around Reno, around the Wingfield Park. We then called it a day afterwards... After a restless evening (since I didn't have a bed), we headed home the very next morning, but things got interesting: We got stranded in the snow around Truckee since my cousin forgot her keys in the trunk! She forgot it when we were putting our car's snow chains. After 2 hours (while at the same time calling for help), we finally managed to open the backseat to get into the trunk. We then continued down I-80 slowly thru the whiteout conditions and finally got down the mountains safely, though the rain continued to fall even as we got back home. What an interesting trip we had!

Weather scenario/forecast:
A powerful Pacific storm had moved into Northern California overnight Sunday and was expected to remain in the region thru Tuesday. The storm was forecast to bring plentiful rain, mountain snow and strong winds to the state. This winter has been quite active for atmospheric rivers in the West. Indeed, this season has knocked out the 5-year drought gripping the state. Also, much of the Sierra Nevada saw its rainiest & snowiest October-February period on record! "Heavy snow was to create dangerous conditions, with travel being severely impacted over the Sierra passes, including I-80," according to NWS. The snow amounts in California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range this winter are difficult to wrap your head around. In many cases topping 500 inches, they are some of the highest totals in memory.
Most of these are car keys, but two of them are marked GAS, and nothing else. Any information appreciated.
The primary purpose of key making is to control access to the things and places you want. Key can open a lock and gain access to these areas; however, keys can also be used to trigger certain mechanisms. When we think of a key we probably think of a house key or an auto key, however, keys are of many different types and purposes. A master key is used to open many locks. Master keys works with a combination of a personalized and master key opening mechanism. Tubular keys are commonly used in alarm systems, these keys have circular shaft which makes it difficult to unlock when it is locked accidentally, and making a new key is not as easier with tubular keys as it is on a flat key. An old-fashioned lever lock type of key is known as skeleton key and the latest one is magnetic key mostly used in holes and dormitories.
With the technology advancement these classic key is benign replaced with other modernized forms. Now electronic combination locks are being used in cars, garage doors and home security system. Keyless entry system in another feature commonly used in modern days cars. In keyless entry system a computer chip is encased in a plastic fob, used to open and start a car.
If you have lost keys or your keys are stolen or you only want a spare, key making is possible for any type of lock and key to a locksmith. Locksmith uses key cutting machine, saws, buffer, key gauges and many other tools to get a new key cut or key replacement for any type of lock. If they are using a key duplicator they don’t have to do much more than loading the machine to get a brand new key. The advanced key cutting machines easily produces a new key cut for a lost of broken key on a key blank. A computer software then checks the accuracy of the new key cut whether it’s perfectly fits to the lock or not. For a vehicle lock the new key is coded with the car lock or ignition lock combination and then it is reprogrammed according to the ECU.
Key making is easier and less cost effective from a locksmith. Their technicians are experienced and are given trainings on regular basis with latest trend
From eBay I just received a 2004 Brass Key porcelain Celebration Snow White doll. She is new in box, and is in excellent condition. She is about 14 inches tall, and is proportioned like a very young teen aged Snow White. She has inset eyes with false eyelashes. I like the look of her deep red velvet bodice and golden sleeves and skirt. She is very pretty, and royal looking. I may open up the box to straighten out her collar and hair, but will probably not actually debox her.

UK letterpress devotees may not be familiar with these style of quoins which I find very useful for locking up large formes of wood type. The ones shown are 6 inch and 7.5 inches, and I do have a 9 inch as well. They expand incrementally 1 point at a time as the key is clicked around.
No tactile keys at all. I imagine a keyboard is available — a pattern of keys that you touch, with no mechanical tactile thing.

This lighthouse was built in 1849, and was built higher on two occasions. The height is now 88 ft (27 m). There are 88 steps to the top. It is on Whitehead Street, near the Hemingway House. A lighthouse was first built on this site in 1825. The lighthouse was withdrawn from service in 1969, and has been converted into a museum. This photo is geotagged.
