I was at my brother's house today and I was looking for their cat when I saw kermit sitting on the dresser. I didn't know they made one like this..he sings, hums, and catches a fly :P
The original Kermit, c. 1955, constructed from a discarded spring coat belonging to Henson's mother and two halves of a pingpong ball.

I was looking for High Voltage Tattoo where LA Ink is filmed on La Brea Avenue when I walked past The Jim Henson Company Studios which also happened to be the former Chaplin Studios built by Charles Chaplin in late 1917, and sold in the 1950s.
I was on my lunch break during part of the 25th Annual Star City Holiday Parade and managed to catch just a few minutes near the end of the parade. Here's something I saw. I ran back two blocks to get a better view of the final float -- Kermit the Frog.

Metal lunchbox from the 1979. Muppets on one side, Kermit on the other, with a groovy thermos where Kermit is eating lunch out of a lunchbox. So meta!
