Mom and Dad dropped off my old Muppet friends: Fozzie Bear, Boober from "Fraggle Rock" and Kermit the Frog.

Sofia's reaction? "Ewww. Kermit is old like you, Daddy." Thanks, Sofia. Go play in the cold.

Jim Henson was one of the creators of Sesame Street, the guiding force behind "The Muppet Show" and part of the creative team that made The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth (movies) come to life.

This portrait of him; with one of his creations, Kermit the frog; is from a sheet of US postage stamps issued in 2005. Click here to see some of the Muppets puppets: flickr.com/photos/43067379@N00/2833182543/in/photostream/

Sadly, he died in 1990 at the age of 53, but Kermit, Big Bird and the rest of the gang continue to delight and educate successive generations of youngsters on Sesame Street.

Here are more cookie cutters from my sister’s collection. There is some duplication from the first batch, but these two pages were originally e-mailed seven years apart and I didn’t think that anyone would remember!

April 18th - We love Sesame Street!

Being a product of the 80s, I grew up with Sesame Street. It was my favorite television show and I pretty much had Sesame Street everything. And Kermit the Frog was (and still is) my absolute favorite of all time. What's not to love about him?

TRF: Today is my mom's birthday. She passed away 12 years ago. She would've been 56 years old.

Kermie was catching some wind. As a result his right hand was smacking some people on the opposite side of the street. Everyone seemed to very much enjoy this. :-)

OK...so I suppose it wasn't Jim Henson voicing him, but he was singing as he went by.

The most deformed looking Kermit the Frog and Spongebob i've ever seen :P

Here they are in the crowd waiting in anticipation of the 2005 Hollywood Christmas Parade. They would probably make weird babies... haha.

I don't remember where I got these, I think I bought them at a thrift store several years ago...they're marked Blockbuster 1998. I think they're so cute! :D
