One of the "Stop" signs just in front of a guard tower and the electric fences at Auschwitz I. Often some of the prisoners last resort they would throw themselves at the electrified barbed wire in hope of ending their misery.
A very quick snap whilst walking by, a gibbon sat almost in contemplation and soaking up the winter sun.
… You might just see that my eyes have taken on the hues of the hedges themselves and realize that I can’t see beyond the walls of this maze anymore - until you somehow convince me to take your hand, or to at least believe that the green is still beautiful.
(It used to be my favorite color).

Hummingbird Pulse; poem 99 (excerpt)
There was a forest fire quite near our campsite, and it covered the lake with smoke. Thankfully during the day the winds changed and cleared off the smoke.
I was melting on the 44 °C, the camera was melting too, I took only one photo, and even like that this place's beauty was just too much!

So whilst in NYC we decided to have a spray artist create us a picture. This guy is an absolute legend and left us encapsulated watching him work.
Elbow Falls is a popular place to photograph. I think I caught something a little different with this image. The moon had just set behind the the mountains and the stars were bright.
