Jason of Kiryoku Kai Karate asked me to take a look at his club and take some promotional shots for his new website, this is what i have come up with,

 

the club is very well organised with jason leading the class, and the higher ranked belts helping to teach teh younger and lower ranked belts how to perform the corect movements, the class is mixed with a wide age range,

oooh ... i couldn't wait. i knitted the leg and part of the heel yesterday, in a race to get to the fun part.

 

the yarn is cascade heritage, on 2.25 mm dpns.

 

i had a rough start on the panel design, but i think i have the hang of it now.

I met Kai in the train from Beijing to Datong. We had the opportunity to chat a lot and then he helped me like crazy when we arrived in Datong.

The use of invertebrate model systems, like the tobacco hornworm, helps researchers understand pathogenic and beneficial host-microbe interactions.
