"Reveal to me the mysteries

Can you tell me what it means?

Explain these motions and metaphors

Unlock these secrets in me

Describe the vision, the meaning is missing

Won't anybody listen?

Define the riddles of my mind

Nothing is really what it seems "

(POD - Sleeping Awake)

Just a hint on Kai's transformation.

- > Still developing!

I think not everyone will approve the transformation, but the truth is, Kai is always been suppressing his latent inner demon... ;)) It is time bring it out !

I'm gonna have to find him a new surname cause "Lester" doesnt fits anymore!

-- > for his fans: he will still pose sexy showing off his abs!!! Don't worry! ;p

♥ I know I've been a bit absent lately... but I always try catch up with my friend's streams!

The thing is, apart from being super busy with life and things I'm also addicted to Instagram (on iPhone) where I share random pics daily. (I posted even a pic of me "planking" one of these days - crazyyy). I wish I had you all there! When you work on computer full time as I do, all that you want is a few minutes now and then to relax and chat - OUT of the computer. You know what I mean right? ;] ( I know shame on me!!! I should never had started a new photo sharing account!)

But I hope life will slow down soon and I will be able to be here and post pics everyday as I always did cause I love it so much to be with my Flickr friends that became REAL friends to me!!! ♡

I redid some of his face up today but wanted to add this "before" pic to his album anyway.

I think he looks kinda sweet and melancholic here ... he's been with me + than 3 years now and I wanted a change!

A bunch of senior high school reps and I were going to meet in Old Town Ft Collins and do some shooting in and around the fountain. But since the weather felt more like late winter, we decided to take it indoors. Kaila and Brie absolutely killed it. They have both been excellent muses and are amazing to work with. Shots with Brie coming soon.

Lighting: Main: SB-900 in Photoflex medium softbox six feet high angled down at 45 degrees camera right fired CLS TTL 0EV. Fill: SB-900 in 28in Westscott Apollo Softbox three feet high level camera left fired CLS TTL EV-0.7. Backlight: SB-900 about four feet off the ground directly behind the model fired CLS TTL EV-1.3. Additional fill from SB-600 just below camera fired down into a 54in silver Westcott reflector CLS TTL EV 0.0. With the exception of the SB-600, all flashes were fired with dome diffuser on and zoomed wide. The quality of the light coming into Kai's face is heavily influenced by the silver reflector at her feet lying on the floor.

Post processing: cloned out a hint of the back light stand and cropped out the silver reflector on the floor.

This was a tough one to approach!

I've followed Kai for a long time, since he worked with Digital Rev, and have since followed him on his own solo channel. The first video I saw was of him putting a 5D in the freezer having soaked it in a sink of water... Unconventional, but useful, camera tests! He was happy to have a portrait made, and told me he'd already been asked by someone else that day. Ever gracious, he told me he was creating a video looking at a set of three Zeiss lenses and gave me a bit of a sneak preview of them. They were... Different.

Kai was gracious and warm, and although I had to dash off, I hope I see him around town again so I can spend a bit more time watching him work and maybe learn a thing or two about video creation from someone who has made a living out of it. Thanks, Kai, and all the best.
