This shot comes from Hawaii-Kai, Hawaii. I noticed the chair as we were on our way to Koko Head, so we pulled over and I snapped a bunch of shots before we continued. A varied line up at Kai Tak airport Hong Kong 6th May 1994, at centre right can be seen half a B747 fuselage, this is the remains of a China Airlines Boeing that ended up in Kowloon Bay after a runway overrun 8 months before my visit. My vantage point here was an 11 storey block of flats with an outside staircase, in a return visit in 2006 I received a shock in that ground floor security doors had been fitted sometime during my 12 year absence!. I had to contend with a muti storey car park near by.

Hello everyone, I would like to introduce the latest member of my household his name is Kai, he is a goldendoodle (golden retreiver/standard poodle). He is 9 mo old and weighs over 100lbs., still has lots of growing to do . . .
My two min-pins (Kodak soon to be 19 years old and Digi 12 years old) do not know what to think when he enters the room, they just run and hide. I hope they will soon become best friends, time will tell.

He's been home for more than one year and a half now..but he was far from being complete :P
Finally last week I made his wig..and I spent yesterday and today sewing his shirt and gilet..
I'm quite happy even if he doesn't look exactly like the original one...

I was out on a group meetup with ArnabKGhosal, barbasboth and The Urban Scout, when I saw Kai standing by a cloths shop in Covent Garden. :) I really liked his style and thought it would work well for a photo, however I did not see a suitable background. I was thinking for a background for a while, and hesitated to approach Kai. Urban Scout then suggest that I use a black background not far away from where we were standing. 'Of cause'! I thought, how could I have not spotted that, the only perfect place for this photo :).
Kai was very much up for it, and was easy going. He has only recently finished a shift at a retail store as a sales assistant. I had asked for a 'cool, relaxed look, with one leg against the wall' - you can see this in the supplementary photograph below. I quickly changed my mind due to the harsh line created by the pavement/wall and went for a landscape (usually I seem to prefer portrait format). We have had slight rain and you can see it on the plastic wall behind him. I am not quite sure what it was, I think a cover of some sort, but it worked as I wanted.
