Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Welcome to the jungle
It gets worse here everyday
Ya learn ta live like an animal
In the jungle where we play
If you got a hunger for what you see
You'll take it eventually
You can have anything you want
But you better not take it from me

There's over 3000 crazed monkeys out
here where I've spent years caring for the
many abused and abandoned temple dogs.

In other news, my i-Pod broke, and I'm getting it fixed tomorrow, so I may not be on Skype until then.
DFF is blessed with 9 species of owls and I have been able to photograph 7 so far. My fascination for owl is never ending and I consider myself lucky to have built a place for rehabilitation of birds and butterflies. Hope soon this pandemic will be over and some of you will visit this little place.

Anupam!!
This is my first time trying to build a realistic rock formation, and I have to say, it is indeed pretty difficult. But I pushed through and the finished build is really worth the time I put into it. I like everything about it. It has rocks of course, a waterfall, lot of plants, a native inhabitant and monkeys with bananas!
Jungle Jim's Supermarket, Fairfield, Ohio (USA). You won't be sorry if you give this a go. The most fun I have ever had at a supermarket.
The jungle babbler is a common resident breeding bird in Southern India. They can be distinguished from the yellow-billed babbler by the dark patch between the eye and bill
My Photoblog- My Third Eye...!
It fortunately didn't rain on my jungle expedition this morning, but the threat was ever-present. It rained hard all day yesterday, hence the swollen 'stream' today. The word stream really doesn't do this watercourse justice, as it can be just a trickling flow toward the end of the hot season, but become an all-engulfing tsunami during heavy monsoon-rains in the wet season. Perhaps the word 'waterway' would be a better fit?
not much of a jungle really just my more wild part of the garden. the foxglove to my right will be in full bloom soon these do well in my garden self seeding everywhere.
A girls worst nightmare happen when I out shopping. while I was walking around I spotted a woman wearing the same dress as me. I did everything to avoid her but sadly we met face to face in RiverIsland, OMG the look she gave would have killed a lesser mortal but I just smiled or should that be smirked and walked off with my head held high know I far better than she did in it :-)
It seemed after that meeting we couldn't avoid each other I saw four times after that and still she looked like she was going to scratch my eyes out.
Well I made it back home safely :-) .
Here's the cake we worked on today. The customer asked for a Diego cake and we worked with her to come up with a jungle theme and she used her son's Diego figure for the topper.
It's a 6" strawberry/8" chocolate cake combination. Vanilla buttercream frosting and fondant decorations. There is a hippo, a parrot, a snake and what is supposed to be a jaguar. Plastic topper belonged to the customer.
They really liked it when they picked it up this afternoon, so I hope it turns out to be the hit of the party!
Thanks to Sweet Dispositions' Cakes and Andrea's SweetCakes for their inspiration cakes!
Here is the completed Adventurers collab that John and I built. As stated before, inspiration was taken from Mark of Falworth and Grant Davis.
Johnny Thunder and his team of Adventurers have discovered an uncharted jungle island. Within the dense vegetation they find the entrance to a ruined temple! After leaping from pillar to pillar, over the crocodile swamp, Johnny reaches the gateway. They’re not the first ones there though, as the treasure-seeking gang boss, G.R. Edy is there with some henchmen. Will Johnny be able to prevail, and will Dr. Kilroy fall to the alligators?
