Jungle Cat - Bobcat in the forest. I named this particular cat Ghost because of how elusive she was to track. When I did see her however, she was very bold and would bring her kittens out. I haven't seen her since December 2022, so I assume she passed away or moved on, since her territory was taken over by her offspring.
2022 was a phenomenal year for Bobcat photography for me. I had well over 50 sightings at various locations, many of which provided excellent photographic opportunities. This year has been very slow, and I've only had two sightings since summer, neither of which yielded photos. Hoping we get some winter rain and I can get more sightings!

BNSF 1930, an H1-painted SD40-2, charges out of Hillsdale, IL with R CHI425 after working Joslin and meeting a WB grain train in the siding. The rain that had been dumping all day didn't let up, but that only added to the photo as 425 raced back to Barstow. Jungle Love, amirite?
This was one of several small waterfalls I saw during a three hour jungle trek near Chiang Mai, Thailand. The density of foliage means that most of them are refreshing surprises.

The jungle babbler (Argya striata) is a member of the family Leiothrichidae found in the Indian subcontinent. They are gregarious birds that forage in small groups of six to ten birds, a habit that has given them the popular name of "Seven Sisters" in urban Northern India, and Saath bhai (seven brothers) in Bengali with cognates in other regional languages which also mean "seven brothers"
Here is the completed Adventurers collab that Isaac and I built. As stated before, inspiration was taken from Mark of Falworth and Grant Davis.
Johnny Thunder and his team of Adventurers have discovered an uncharted jungle island. Within the dense vegetation they find the entrance to a ruined temple! After leaping from pillar to pillar, over the crocodile swamp, Johnny reaches the gateway. They’re not the first ones there though, as the treasure-seeking gang boss, G.R. Edy is there with some henchmen. Will Johnny be able to prevail, and will Dr. Kilroy fall to the alligators?

Okay, technically it should be Rainforest Dweller but that just doesn't have the same ring....
This is the newest addition to my private jungle and the most expensive Orchid I have ever bought. I should have been suspicious when they didn't have prices on them....
Mini jungle with native species still in this area. This area used to have wild cats, I don't know the species, called Maral in the local name, but due to rapid deforestation and people weren't aware of the significance of protecting wild animals native to this area,we lost them.
