Last night's supermoon rising behind St Michael's Mount, which was lit green to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

HI its been a while since I did one of these. Was checking out Nuova Sicilia II and was feeling my 'fit so why not? I did take a moment to change that one section of my shoes to match my surroundings, but I feel it still counts as one of those unposed unedited things I've been amusing myself with at your expense this year.

Tattoo is This is Wrong, pants are Diet, shirt is Don't Dup, ear tusks are CheerNo, anything else you want to know just ask.

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me was an invincible summer.

She appeared out of nowhere. This was a couple of years ago during June while I was working on a ranch in South Dakota. She showed up walking through the pens of bulls that were outside of our working shed/building. She darted inside our building and hid. Eventually she let us handle her, but upon being set down she would follow us right back outside into the area with the 1000+ pound livestock : not okay obviously!

I acquired an old pet carrier from my boss out on the ranch and took the kitten back to where I was living. Treated her for any maladies and had her spayed. Shortly after I wound up driving her up to my home area (6 hours, she did great) in North Dakota and met with an acquaintance that would take her in. She gave the kitten to her mom whom had just recently had to say "Goodbye" to her older, senior cat a couple of months before.

Everything worked out. Thank goodness. There was absolutely no way I could go home and leave her in that environment. She is a very loving, and grateful kitten. Shortly after her move up North, her new family adopted a sister/companion for her as well 😊 ❤

“Then Day reaches out and touches my hand with his. He encloses it in a handshake. And just like that, I am linked with him again, I feel the pulse of our bond and history and love through our hands, like a wave of magic, the return of a long-lost friend. Of something meant to be. The feeling brings tears to my eyes. Perhaps we can take a step forward together.

“Hi,” he says. “I’m Daniel.”

“Hi,” I reply. “I’m June.”
