Marvel Photoshoot with Cable, Domino, Judge Dredd, and Juggernaut.
I had a blast at this shoot. The park we went to had a bunch of fantastic places to shoot in.

When I was at Brunel Technical College in Bristol I met Martin Sheilds who introduced me to Hawkwind.
This was 1984-85 and I walked around with Judge Dredd painted on the back of my Army Surplus coat with the quote “This is Hawkwind, do not panic”.
As Cath pointed out today, Hawkwind had nothing to do with Judge Dredd nor 2000AD but this was my concept and I thought it was cool.
Painted by Ed, who is on my flickr stream somewhere.

The Dredd helmet has to be kept on perfectly straight or it looks terrible. I'm not sure whether it has slipped slightly here, or it's just because of the slight angle of the photo.

An A5 Forbidden Planet product catalogue from Summer 1984. In those days I think FP was essentially owned by the same people as Titian distributors and comic publishers as well as 2000AD, hence why this catalogue is full of classic British sci-fi comics like Judge Dredd, ABC warriors, Nemesis the Warlock, Rogue Trooper, Robo Hunter, Ro-Busters etc.
Zellig Car Park street art seen during Birmingham Weekender, but they were done during the High Viz Street Art Festival a few weekends before.
