An A5 Forbidden Planet product catalogue from Summer 1984. In those days I think FP was essentially owned by the same people as Titian distributors and comic publishers as well as 2000AD, hence why this catalogue is full of classic British sci-fi comics like Judge Dredd, ABC warriors, Nemesis the Warlock, Rogue Trooper, Robo Hunter, Ro-Busters etc.
Surfing around the internet for new custom Mego pics, as I often do, I came across some random message board for 2000 AD Comics. 2000 AD is a long running British Sci-Fi comic anthology featuring the likes of Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, and Dan Dare. Well, anyhooo.....I stumbled upon this forum via Google where i saw images that looked like 3-D mock-up's of carded Megos. After clicking on the images I was delighted to see that they were indeed conceptual illustrations of 2000 AD characters done in the Mego style. Being the nice guy that I am I have decided to post these illustrations here for you to enjoy as well. So enjoy, and let me know your thoughts on these.

The Dredd helmet has to be kept on perfectly straight or it looks terrible. I'm not sure whether it has slipped slightly here, or it's just because of the slight angle of the photo.
