We arrived at the Station Pier carpark with plenty of time before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania for our first overnight crossing of Bass Strait. We'd chosen to take our car across this time as we wanted to get a bit more offroad than on previous trips, particularly in the Tarkine area of western of Tasmania and up in the North East corner.
I'd also taken lots of images on our road trip through Southern NSW and Victoria on our way to Station Pier and the Spirit of Tasmania dock so it's taken several months of posting those images to get to this point but, finally, after a few plant and local images yet to come, from early next week I'll begin posting images of Tasmanian landscapes.

A damp cold day is not the best to get anybody to join anything.
But, it was the AA turn today to try and get new members with th promise of help when you might need it.
The little marquee has become a high street favourite with anybody from Dogs Trust to AA to Council or Cancer advice.
Black & white in a high contrast captured the misery of this 'Spring' day.

From the flapper era, disco fever, and beyond, dance has evolved and changed tremendously throughout the years.
We wanted to bring those changes to the stage in a fun filled sexy and sassy show done Coquette style! So for this show we dropped the decades from 1920s to the 2000s in a fishbowl and picked out 6. Which ones did we pick?! And who picked which?!
You have to come to the theatre to find out! We did pick some of the most popular styles of dance to sweep across America and the world. Join us on our journey through time!
After the show we'll be dancing in our lobby club with DJ Dune and the famous La Machine dance machine! We can't wait for you to join in and party!

I've had this idea for a while, to lay out all of my photo and video gear and pose with it, but I have never had a spot where I could do it properly.
The Art Gallery of Burlington has a great photo studio and gear available for members of the Latow Photographers Guild which I recently joined.
Yesterday, after spending a few hours shooting portraits for my wife and her friend, I used the rest of the time to set this photo up.
Not in the photo is my drone, which I used to take the photo, and my audio gear which I simpy forgot to lay out!
So, now that I did this - what should I do next?

Rila - Рила - is a mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria and the highest mountain range of Bulgaria and the Balkans, with its highest peak being Musala at 2,925 m. The massif is also the sixth highest mountain in Europe (when each mountain is represented by its highest peak only), coming after the Caucasus, the Alps, Sierra Nevada, the Pyrenees and Mount Etna, and the highest between the Alps and the Caucasus. The larger part of the mountain is occupied by the Rila National Park.
Hiking in the Rila mountains in spring time is a nature lover's dream. The locally famous Seven Lakes are a breathtaking reward for a day's hike and the area yields many visual treats. Meadows bursting with spring flowers abound and drench the slopes with colour.

This is another photo from my last year’s trip to La Serra dels Bufadors, a mountain range located near Santa Maria de Besora in Catalonia. At some point, the mountain cracked and split apart, creating a corridor between the peaks, this photo was taken in the middle of corridor, the walls are tall here and the trees are growing as much as they can to catch the light.

Volvo Olympian Alexander stands waiting for the barriers at Ely as a GA class 387 passes on a service to Kings Lynn.The traffic hear can be queued right back for up to 5 minutes at a time.This mayhem will soon be at an end when the new Ely South bypass and Bridge opens in 2018 at a cost of 36 million pounds.Then this Level crossing will close.
Out in the Pembrokeshire summertime is a happy place to be for this herd of cows.

A few weeks ago, I was visiting one of the most important medieval festivals in Catalonia. For two weeks, the ancient streets and squares of Montblanc, a well-preserved medieval town with an entire set of walls and towers, are festooned with the colors of four noble houses and embellished with the noble flags and standards.
