This stunning 8.79 kW solar array was an expansion from the original rooftop. The owner, having garage space on his home, decided to maximize his space and put an additional 12 solar panels on his roof. Since partial day shading would reduce his output, the owner settled on enphase microinverters to convert the DC power to AC power so to maximize efficiency. The first array uses an SMA Sunny Boy inverter.
